The food was absolutely delicious. I had the fish tacos and they were divine. My family enjoyed their meals also. Staff were friendly but quite busy so could not provide the best service. Pricing is reasonable. I would highly recommend eating here if you’re staying at Candle Lake!

We had supper here on Monday. Got to sit out on the deck. Nice view of the boats coming in, golf green hole and lake. Food was great. Servers were busy for a Monday but took one star off as they could have been better. I would recommend this place if you are looking for a nice supper with the family at Candle Lake.

Taco Tuesday was Great, the Margaritas were good, definitely try the Fish Tacos made with fresh Northern SK Walleye, they were Excellent. Service is prompt & friendly. Burgers are available with a Gluten Free Bun. Thursday is wing night.

Attended on a Monday evening when it was not busy. We were seated promptly, our server took our order quickly and brought our beverages it all went downhill from there. We were 2 adults and 3 young kids under the age of 10. It was 40 minutes before only one of our meals came, overcooked from the fryer. It was another 15 minutes before the other meals came. At no time did the wait staff apologize or even acknowledge the delay. We could not get their attention at all. I have eaten here many times before and been satisfied. I am disappointed that they so spectacularly failed tonight.

I am entirely disappointed to have to write such a poor review, but I don't think I have had a meal that terrible in quite some time. We have been long time residents of Candle lake and previous years always loved the golf resort for meals. After this meal we will never be returning. On July 13th we were seated, ordered drinks and ordered food. After waiting about 45 minutes we were told it shouldn't be too much longer. Just over an hour after ordering we received our meal (well, 3 out of the 4 of us did. I was told they have overcooked my steak so they are wanting to recook it). The Udon that my mother received was inedible. The broth had no flavor and the noodles were mushy and overcooked. She took a couple bites and couldn't keep eating. We advised the waitress, who asked if she wanted something else, but with how slow the food took she had no interest in waiting another hour. My partner ordered the ribs and said they were the toughest ribs he has ever ate (and believe me when I say he is not picky and will literally eat anything). Once everyone was done eating was when I received my surf and turf. The steak was cooked well, but extremely tough. The shrimp was rubbery. I received a baked potato with no butter, sour cream or any other fixings. Just a plain baked potato cut in half. The zucchini and vegetables were mush. I ordered the scampi as a side sauce and it was doused in hot pepper flakes... If i wanted it spicy I could have added that myself? Why do we need to make scampi spicy? I love my fair share of hot food but not in a scampi sauce... it was not good at all. I tried to douse it on my potato but it didn't cut it. I had a few bites and had to send it back as well. I requested to speak to the chef whom I told about this terrible experience. He said there would be a "big discount". Ok... so bill time. We received the bill and the only thing taken off or discounted was the uneated udon. I told the waitress that I spoke to the chef and there should be more taken off. She did both the ribs and the surf and turf 50% off. I paid; but I am still angry that even though I only had a few bites from my surf and turf I still had to pay 50% of it - and the hour wait for our food was acceptable? Never again will we return. Terrible food, terrible service. Who thought a "golf resort" would have such poor chefs staffed in the kitchen.

Bad customer service. Truffle fries were floppy wet and rubbery. Asked for a new order/ discount didn’t get either. Also didn’t get drink refills the whole meal. I expect better

Placed a take out order at 6:39 pm. said it would be ready in 20 minutes and headed it over for 7pm... order finally ready at 7:33pm. an hour for fries and clubhouse sandwich is ridiculous.
