I usually call ahead to order takeout and have learned that during peak times the food often isn't ready so will add 10 minutes to the pick up time. If it's not during the dinner rush it's always ready at the time given.
During the supper rush there's often a line to pay as the person manning the register is also answering the phone taking orders. The debit machine is usually quite slow and since there is only one phone line transactions are interrupted if a call comes in while the machine is in use.
Regardless of minor inconveniences I still recommend this place as the food is always good - it's fresh, served hot and is fairly priced. Wong's Special Combination is always a good choice and will satisfy even the heartiest of appetites while a half order is available for those who want something on the lighter side.
Kid-friendliness: High chairs and booster seats available
Wheelchair accessibility: There is a step up into the main entrance from the street. The main door opens into a small vestibule with a second door to your immediate right that must be pulled open into the vestibule in order to enter the dining room. Assuming one in a wheelchair can be lifted to get into the front door there isn't room to pivot the chair 90 degrees and then pull the second door open. Would recommend at least 2 helpers to get a chair inside - both lift the chair up the step, one to go in ahead to pull and hold the inner door open, the second to roll the chair into the vestibule and maneuver it 90 degrees through the second door into the dining room.

Have gone in the past and really enjoyed. Went recently and was blatantly ignored by waitress. Do not even live in Canora so me and another person drove an hour there and back to be ignored until we left. Have no way of knowing who the waitress is as we have never met yet seemed to grudgingly disregard us. Restaurant was not busy whatsoever. The waitress waited on multiple groups of people that came in well after us. If you don't want our money then tell us at the door when we come in. Pathetic service. Will never go back again.
