Just stopped for a strawberry milk shake, THE WORST EVER. Might as well have used milk and strawberry quik!!
$6.95 wasted! Do better
The staff here are amazing.
They bend over backwards to get your order correct.
They are polite and friendly.
Food is always good.
Great little place. Milkshakes, burgers etc...
Great food,
Stopped by D & L Dairy Mart while passing through Indian Head. It’s a nice little roadside spot, but the experience was a bit of a mixed bag for me.
We ordered the Oreo Cookies and Cream Twister and a Hot Fudge Sundae. The Twister was actually pretty good—creamy with a decent amount of Oreo bits—but still not outstanding. Just felt like it could use a bit more richness or texture to stand out. The Sundae, on the other hand, was underwhelming. The fudge wasn’t hot at all, and the whole thing tasted just average.
The staff were friendly, and the outdoor seating was clean and convenient. I liked the nostalgic small-town vibe, but overall, it didn’t really wow me. It’s okay for a quick treat if you’re in the area, but I wouldn’t go out of my way for it.
Banana taste bad
Very poor can not seem to get orders right don’t recommend if you have larger orders

CAPITALISM KILLS AGAIN!
What was once a beloved small business burger and ice cream stop has now become a corporate entity, one which has stripped it of any life it once had. Now we are left with the soulless husk that remains; a tourist trap. The quality of food has detrimentally gone down, with how its made, what ingredients are used, etc. all while prices remain kept up. Not only that, employees are insufficiently trained. (i.e. order a poutine and never get it, order a burger and receive it without a top bun, ask for extra crispy bacon and get floppy half cooked bacon with a charred patty) This is not the employees fault, the new management has neglected the place severely and allowed it to go under. Although they have made some promising changes such as the patio, those do not overshadow the mass amount of drops in quality. Skimping on ingredients, mismanaging the employees, all in the name of profit. This will kill Dairy Mart and leave it to be another dead small business idea, one which had thrived for over a decade. If something isn't broken, don't fix it. Decide to cut corners, people will notice. #BringBackTheOldDairyMart

I ordered the breaded mushrooms and dry ribs. The mushrooms are cooked perfectly. the dry ribs are totally overcooked. Can't even eat them.
Had amazing customer service. Ice cream was delicious. Would definitely recommend this as a stop along the number 1!

Very good ice cream, pretty cheap.
Usually, the service here is really good, and the food has always been good. Today, I just ordered a milkshake on my way by. Took my first draw when I was back on the highway, and it was like milk soup. I don’t think they shook it at all. Perhaps it was new staff, but I will be checking better next time.

Absolutely lovely summer stop. We are always sure to stop for ice cream here on our way by. Staff are great, prompt service, and they have lots of picnic tables to eat at.
