Great steak sandwich and a great price at approx. $16. Busy place. I hadn't been there for many years and the place has had an upgrade and looks way better than before.

Called today and ordered food for take out. When my friend & I arrived we had to ask several times about our food and waited maybe close to 10 minutes before anyone even went to check on it. By that point we decided to eat at the bar, ordered a gingerale and 2 waters, one of which had something floating in it. When we were done I asked to pay 4 times, each time the server turned around and started taking drink orders of other people showing up to the bar. We waited around for a while, got frustrated by being ignored and just left. I called back an hour later & paid over the phone. The food was amazing but the service was so bad today. All in all I like the Wooden Nickel but was disappointed with the way things went there today.

It is a pub, same as the listing for the Grand Inn, sometimes noisy with the bar crowd and food is sometimes interesting, the prices are high for what one gets and although they have tried to be inclusive of the community one doesn't pay the bills with coffee drinkers.

My Mom and I took a beautiful drive from Pasqua Lake to enjoy your steak sandwiches. They were very tender and juicy and a big portion. The service was five star ! Overall we enjoyed our road trip! Thanks for the lovely service!
We stopped for a quick supper. This place has really deteriorated since the change of ownership.

We were just passing through, found this cute little spot. The food was very good, however, I was disappointed in the reduced menu offered on Sunday as I was so looking forward to one of their entrees. Aside from that, I highly recommended 👌
