Burger Buoy

We showed up on the last day of the season. They were cleaning out inventory so they were giving out free ice cream I didn't get to try the food but it seemed good , great view of the beach right in front very friendly staff. Would recommend.

Lucky for them there aren’t much options around. Bad food and worse staff.

Burgers - depressing and overpriced. They claim to be good food but not fast food but the burger was presented slapped together and overall disappointing. (They don't supply plastic knives so the burger cutting in the photo is poor)

Service - a bit of a misnomer with these guys. Lazy and rude. When I asked for the butter chicken poutine they said they might not have it and I had better order something else to be safe. I asked twice if they could check they had it and they did eventually confirm they did have it.

Poutine - wanted the brisket but they were sold out (a good sign?). Got the butter chicken poutine instead which was excellent, good combo of fries, curry and cheese curds

Pie / Quality Control - watch what you order to make sure you got it. Asked for a Saskatoon Berry Pie and got back an apple pie with a spoonful of saskatoon berry on the side.

Dogs - the beach isn't pet friendly but you can squeeze them onto the patio and the burger shack does free doggie scoops of ice cream for our fearless adventurers.

burgers are......rink burgers. they're fine, they're edible, they're over-priced. the smoked brisket poutine was really good though.

Food took forever and customer service was rude and sassy. A. 5 star restaurant would have been faster. It’s deep fried food it isn’t complicated but I guess for this place it is

We stopped here for lunch because it was on the beach. The service was excellent and their portable pager system allowed us to sit on the beach while we waited for our food to be ready. The homemade burger patties were fresh and delicious. The fries were fresh and crispy and the gravy was just right. We definitely reccomend this place.

Great place to eat and enjoy the beach. There is a large menu and lots of places to sit. Staff is very friendly.

The food was good and the service was efficient. Prices were fair, and the food came out as ordered, quickly, hot, and tasty. Recomend this place when at the beach.

The new owners are so kind and make the best food it is to die for and they also have a great ice cream selection
