Have been going there since it opened. last order we got there was the worst indian food I have ever had. Iwas told the they don't do popadoms, we always got them and onoin bargies they didn't do any more, ordered a vindaloo it was more like a Tikka... will not be going back, as gone from one of the best to the very worst

The second worst experience with Indian food in my life; and I have travelled all over India! First was on Gerrard st in Toronto, in the 80’s and I got sick from the food. Black pepper Saskatoon was fine 3 weeks ago and I figured the one in Martensville would be the same, boy was I wrong.I got 3 vegetarian dishes, all used the same frozen vegetable mix with cut green beans, corn, carrots and Lima beans but different sauces; disgusting how they cheated; nothing like the Saskatoon restaurant where actual vegetables were used, not a mix from a frozen bag. Butter chicken used more of a tomato sauce base and like other sauces was sweet.Never again, this was my first time at Martensville restaurant and last. I think they feel people on none Indian origin don’t know any better. You want to have authentic Indian food, try Kashmere Restaurant on Broadway; we went there 2 weeks ago cuz an Indian multi.millionaire from Toronto recommended it; it was an amazing experience, all 5 of us really enjoyed the food and service. If you have to, then I would pick the black pepper in Saskatoon; would not even get near the one in Martensville.

Quantity is very less. The amount of money they charge you can have much better food with more quantity in other restaurants. Won’t recommend!

Food is ok but not amazing, mango lassi is weak
I was disappointed, went for the buffet, says it starts at 5 pm , wasn't quite ready at 5.40 p.m, and sauces were not that hot.The quality of chicken and fish was good.Washrooms were a disgrace, didn't know until after the meal, or I'd have left. Don't think they've been cleaned in at least a month, generally the restaurant was grubby.
