I was @ A & W again yesterday ! I had a plain burger (which I prefer) . It was SO DARN TASTY -- I really enjoyed it ! The staff there are always friendly & efficient !

The restaurant was clean and our food came at a reasonable time. After a full day of serious physical labor, it was good to stick some grease into our body. My daughter and I enjoyed a very large meal.

I think , A&W is adding to the list of bad customer service. I brought the masala veggie which comes with peri peri sauce and the first time I went in, I got it with that sauce and today they gave me a different sauce. When I went to ask them, they rudely told me that we just have this and we will not give you any other sauce. When I said that I have been here earlier and I was given the one with peri peri sauce the supervisor who was in the kitchen just said I don’t know what sauce he gave you, Just take the burger and go. Very rude staff

Can’t believe how clean this place is. Very well staffed with friendly competent workers. Young fella working the counter came out to the dining room and could not find any table or chair or counter to clean, the were either occupied or already clean. So he went and found a mop and mopped the already clean floor.
Open early and a full breakfast that is reasonably priced. Eggs cooked the way you want them! Eat-in experience recommended!

If you've been to an A&W in the last 10 years this will be very familiar. It's like any of the updated A&Ws. Slightly different configuration because it was refurbed rather than new built.
I was in the area because of business and was with a colleague on our way home. We stopped and had a Crunchy chicken sandwich meal and a Mozza hamburger meal. We had onion rings instead of fries. They make real onion rings unlike some fast food places.
The sandwiches were good and the frozen glass mug of root beer was really refreshing. The onion rings were great. Crispy breading and well cooked onion inside.
We had other choices in Melfort but wanted what A&W had to offer. So if you're traveling north or south and pass through Melfort you could stop for A&W if you're hungry.

The meat kinda tasted weird. I am a US citizen. Growing up with A&W, the baby burgers were like smash burgers. Very tasty! Sorry, I can't say the same for these burgers. The fries had a strange taste as well. I don't know if all the A&W's up here in Canada are a good representation of the A&W's I grew up with.
