A weird experience. I felt like it was a tv hidden camera show. The server seemed like they weren’t open. They didn’t have alcohol. But my date and I don’t drink so no worries. I felt like she was taken hostage or something. Each tv had different colour settings. They only took cash too. Because “ya know banks” still a fun time! Great first date

Went for at 3:30 pm waited for 19 min to be acknowledged while the waitress chit chatted to another table. Then came to tell us they have no chef and no food. Wonderful lol. Could be great like in the past but seems to shut down and reopen every few months. I hope it improves. Has potential. Used to really like the place.

Went there with my wife on the reopening it was really good just came back to visit moose, jaw and went back there, and what a disappointment all the original staff do not work there anymore and I kinda see why they don't serve food there anymore the Patty wagon it is no longer there which is really disappointing. The live music it's way too loud, and it sounds terrible it seems like the owner does not know what he's doing and it does not seem busy anymore i hope for the best for that owner

Not sure what happened to the place, went for supper on a Saturday in Spring at 6pm and walked in to a completely empty bar. Browns down the street was full.
One person walked in during our visit and we overheard the bartender tell them they had neither Gin, nor vodka(?) not sure, but seemed odd that a country bar would be out of any spirit.
The food we ordered was almost inedible. Burger was dry and generic, my wife’s poutine was so over salted that either of us could stomach it. My Buffalo chicken poutine was visibly unappetizing, consisted of stale cheese curds and “packet” grilled chicken - as well it was over peppered to the point of also being difficult to eat.
Server was lovely but could somehow tell we weren’t stoked. Seemed like she felt bad that she had to serve us such poorly made food. Left with mostly full plates, hungry, and feeling almost unwell. Not sure if this place is ever popping, didn’t seem to give that vibe.
Honestly, I can’t imagine how unbearable live music would be in this place. My wife and I actually agreed we’d have left had there been a band setting up when we arrived.
Don’t like giving bad reviews but this was a really disappointing experience compared to when I have been years prior and it was still CJ’s Cornerstone. We regretted going, in summary.
