Smitty's Restaurant & Lounge - Moose Jaw Town 'N' Country

I had a Christmas brunch with some friends at Smitty's today. Mist of us ordered the breakfast special and it was great. Your choice of bacon,sausage and choice of hashbrowns or pancakes or tomatoes. The waitresses were good and kept the coffee refill coming and attended our every need. I remember my Dad commenting that Smitty's was his favorite restaurant especially because they offer smaller portions for seniors.

Soooo stopped in here... I have to say the service was amazing, very energetic and welcoming and not just one waitress but all of them were very considerate and I highly recommend the wondow seat 😀 The greeter was very funny.. the holiday decorations are very beautiful... Food was really tasty.. milkshake was huge an so good!!!!.... will be back around in the near future... thankx guys ❄️💯🙏

Popped in for a late breakfast while visiting in the area. I was seated quickly and friendly staff brought a menu/coffee . There are options for flavoured creamer on the table. My food was ready in no time and was tasty.
I listened to friendly banter between staff and customers, some of whom must be regulars as the staff knew their order.
The place is clean, busy and friendly.

Went today for brunch and it was an awful experience. The server seemed new and place was very busy so we tried to give benefit of the doubt, we had to ask multiple times for water, we ordered 2 cherry whisky paralyzers which I asked prior too if they were on a special and she said yes and brought them back to us moments later but when it came time to pay, we were charged full price and she informed us it was actually just the regular paralyzers on special(which should be specified on the drink list and if that was the case i would have ordered a regular one), We found not 1, not 2 but 3 HAIRS in our food, and brought that to our servers attention, she remade my daughters food but by that time we had finished up and had to take it to go. When bringing to our servers attention we were double charged for an item, we witnessed her walk back to her station and slam the bill down while mouthing the F word. We received zero discount or even a real apology, she just seemed very annoyed about us expressing concerns. $80 for a horrible experience and meal. This use to be our go to place every Sunday but after this horrid experience I don't think we will be going back..I'd also like to add that at the beginning we never once were rude or blaming her for food mistakes because we know it wasn't her fault, but the lack of professionalism and attitude and rudeness we received from her near the end was appalling. We also spoke to manager afterwards who showed zero concern or real apology.

Service was great and fast.Most of the breakfast was good, but pancakes tasted like no name box onesz they're easy to make so not sure why Smittys doesn't make fresh home style ones.Will skip the pancakes next time and get toast.
