Me and my siblings went here so much when we were younger, the staff knew us by name. This is definitely the go-to spot if you want ice cream. I love this place so much.
Love this place. Super nice people and enjoy the ice cream.
I've been going to this place since as long as I can remember. The owners are always so friendly. The ice cream is fantastic, and the prices are almost unreal. I love going to the Snow Hut every time I'm in the city.
Great hole in the wall ice cream shop. They did not have the flavors advertised I was looking for but settled on soft serve butterscotch dipped cone. Very busy but fast once it was my turn.
Best ice cream in Moose Jaw!! Highly recommend this Moose Jaw favorite. A great tradition to take the kids or grandkids- owners are fun and fantastic.
My washing machine broke so I had to come here to wash some clothes. The place is pretty dirty and most of the machines are broken. Not to mention they charge $5.25 for a load and run it on the shortest cycle 25 minutes so no second rinse not really washing just wetting your clothes and then done.
Donot come for laundry here if you still have no option then be careful stay over there that guy I don’t if he is owner or not changes your washing time of clothes if you leave the place . I saw it . Donot think your costumers are fool .

Do not waste your time this place needs to be completely demolished there are only two working washing machines the clothesline outside will work a lot better than the dryers
Look I’m all for supporting small local businesses in our community but when you don’t even try why bother.

I’ve cream choices are great, milkshakes, slushes, sundaes, Etc. Good prices, good portions! Picture shows my strawberry cheesecake ice cream, one scoop (I ate most of it at that point, super good!). Husband got the cappuccino milkshake, also good, small size. The building may surprise you, but I can tell you the ice cream is worth it. Did not see a debit machine, paid with cash but that doesn’t mean they don’t have one, we just didn’t ask. Would go again for sure!
We often travel through Moose Jaw on our way to the family farms in southern Saskatchewan. Snow Hut has been there for decades and we've been stopping there for ice cream treats since it opened.
They have all kinds of ice cream, both soft and hard, you can get cones, dipped or plain, and any number of other ice cream treats.
If you need other supplies it's not just an ice cream place. It's a convenience store with chips, pop, candy etc. It's right on Home Street eastbound. Stop for a treat if you're driving by.

Rustic place! The owner is super friendly and the prices are reasonable…
The 1 star review is for their laundromat. He has 3 or 4 washing machines that he activates after you pay at the till. You do not get to choose the temperature you wash your clothing in, nor do you get to choose the cycle setting (i.e. delicates, perm press, etc.). Had to load up my laundry to take it elsewhere.
The shop itself is great and lots of specialty food items that look really interesting. Just don't book your Uhaul through the shop. Although polite, the owner is not very knowledgeable on the rules and would've cost us double on the trailer rental. I recommend booking thru uhaul and pick-up at the shop.
