Way over priced. $32 for 2 sandwiches is insane.
Great coffee in a quaint, interesting downtown
We were the 4 of us here in June of 2025 and the desserts were above n beyond. They were the best and maybe in this order... blueberry cheesecake, carrot cake and maple pecan scone. The poppyseed iffy
Stopped by The Hive during my visit to Moose Jaw. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, making it a pleasant place to relax. I tried their coffee and a pastry—both were enjoyable. The staff were friendly and attentive. While it didn’t blow me away, it’s a solid choice for a decent café experience in town.
Hive has a cool interior and great vibe. After entering with a tunnel tour group I was like “Daaaamn.” So after the tour my wife, son and myself had to get something. My wife got a Hive latte, I got a Matcha latte and my son got a Blueberry lemonade. I also got a rhubarb Oat cheese cake. Everything was great. Next time we’re in town or passing through Hive will be a definite stop.
Super cool vibe and amazing food!!
Random lunch stop turned out to be an incredible experience!! Hands down the best homemade soup I’ve had in a very long time!! the latte was lovely too!
Real coffee place, good selection of beverages and also some hot pastry or cakes
I’ve had great food and coffee at the hive in the past but my last two visit have been terrible. Both my drinks were thrown away before half done. My cortado was luke warm and my iced green tea was water with no green colour or flavour. It’s disapointing because I was so excited to have a great little place to stop in for good food and snacks when we are in Moose Jaw. I am totally for paying more for good food and drink (especially local) but $9+ (with tip) for two drinks that are basically undrinkable is too much.
We ordered drip coffee but were informed that drip coffee wasn’t available - grinder broken. I asked the barista for her recommendations on 2 of the treats they serve - she hadn’t tried either…seriously?!?! Please try what you are selling so that you can inform your customers. Very lovely atmosphere.

They have zero dairy-free food options, all their food is premade, and they can not accommodate allergies.

I really don’t like writing bad reviews for local businesses trying their best. The atmosphere was great, but the service was terrible. I ordered a drip coffee, they were out so I ordered an Americano.
It took 30 minutes for me to get it. The staff were distracted and moving very slowly in a don’t care way. When I did finally get my coffee, they were out of to go cup lids. So I poured my coffee into 2 small cups.
The whole experience was painful. Don’t go if you don’t have 30 minutes to get a simple coffee.

We had the most amazing service while there. The baked goods were superb and the coffee was amazing. Lemonade was also delicious. Well done ?

This is such a beautiful spot! The staff were so friendly. I had the mushroom quiche and honestly, the crust was probably the best I've ever had! They were making soup for lunch and the entire place smelt amazing!!

Very expensive and the wifi was weak that it dropped a couple times while I was in the shop. Also, parking is bad unless you visit on a weekend.
