Weren’t acknowledged at all when we walked in the door. Not overly busy looking. Not even a hello. Walked past us 5 times. We left :) Decent size bill ya missed out on.
Couldn’t tell you what the food or drink was like as we waited 15 min at the front waiting to be seated and weren’t even acknowledged.

10/10 recommend the spot! Karinne and her staff are always so kind and welcoming! The food and drinks are always tasty and the outdoor patio is a must in the summer!
Was there week ago.
Very expensive, food was average ?
Service was so slow, and hardly anyone was there. It was a Sunday at 5 pm.

Tried the spot at Bill Brecht Park and again at Humboldt Streetfest - it was delicious both times. I hope they continue to come to Humboldt.
Food was great, I had the ginger beef and it was delicious, lots of veggies and great ginger sauce. Service was quick and the atmosphere was quiet and nice. Would highly recommend

Honestly one of the worst meals we’ve had at a restaurant in a long time. Will not go back.
The lady that seated us was bordering hostile and extremely unpleasant, waitress was friendlier but there was only two girls working out front so mostly just got ignored after we ordered.
The $40 steak was salty beyond belief, broccoli was old to the point of almost being bad, “loaded” potato was nothing but cheese in a cold potato.
The ginger beef was so bad. The rice pilaf was a white rice mush, bok choy and veggies again looked and tasted like they were spoiled, and the beef was mostly tasteless.
Not to mention how dirty the kitchen looked from the quick glance I got. I’ve worked in my fair share of kitchens and for the price level of The Spot I would expect it to at least be clean.
I feel awful leaving this review but that’s honestly how bad it was

We came to the restaurant as the Venice house was closed, huge mistake, we waited 15 mins to get seated, and then another 45 mins for our food. I would not recommend eating here unless you have a good couple hours to waste.
Consistently out of items, long waits to get food/ drinks, tonight we waited 10–15 mins for a table with staff walking right past us. Don’t mind waiting for a table but they definitely could have acknowledged us at the door during that time. Ended up walking out

When their Spot Food Truck came by Tobin Lake Resort on Canada Day, I tried their Spot Burger and it was so Delicious that I went by their Restaurant at the Evergreen Center to have another and when I found their Food Truck at the Nipawin Exhibition, got a 3rd Spot Burger.
When I went by the Restaurant, I found their Atmosphere & Furniture to be 1970s style of Furnishings. Service was fairly prompt and I found their Spot Burger at it's usual Delicious Taste.
I just wish they could have Onion Rings to go with the Burger instead of French Fries.

takes a loooong time to get your order sometimes but the food is pretty well worth it
I enjoyed your food at the Yorkton Exhibition. This was an incredible meal after a long day. Excellent customer service, friendly, reasonable price, and mouth-watering. Sending you tons of roses.
Had a decent meal once, so I brought my coworker after a 12 hour shift. It took well over an hour to get our meals. We were only brought 2 very small glasses of water in that time. Not enough servers/not enough cooks. Which is fine, but you should let the customer know there will be a ling wait for food.
I got fettuccine Alfredo and it was really bad. I showed the waitress, it was basically noodles in soup. Like somebody took pasta and dumped it in a bacon chowder.
I was told that the chef will keep an eye on it.
Will be my last time due to the way they handled it.

This food truck was at my sons baseball tournament in Humboldt and omgosh....the food was amazing! I got the pesto chicken panini and it might have been the best sandwich I have ever eaten. Apparently the loaded burger (the spot burger?) was unreal too! - highly recommend for any event this summer!
