We had fond memories of this Cafe from our visits in years prior, so we decided to head out from Regina for lunch.The restaurant was just as well decorated and clean as we remembered it. The staff seemed new and were very kind and pleasant to deal with. We ordered $50 worth of lunch and that's where the 1 star comes from.We ordered the Rooster chicken sandwich, two kids burgers and a smashed potatoe poutine. I mean no disrespect to the owner but the food quality was unacceptably bad.The chicken was hard and dry and just tasted old. The sandwich in general just tasted awful. The kids burgers were under cooked( Red inside). The poutine was poorly executed in every way. I am a huge supporter of small businesses and I can normally force myself to eat not so great food but everyone ended up leaving the restaurant hungry. We were honest with the staff about how the food was and they were very good about it and offered some money back.Maybe the cook called in sick today but unfortunately this will likely be our last visit to the Blue Rooster.

We have stopped by to have lunch at this awesome little restaurant twice now and the food and service is always wonderful. The owners made us feel very welcome. They served us with the biggest and best cup of Coffee we have seen in a long time. I highly recommend this adorable little Cafe'.

The to-go cup is a cute option for certain drinks.The service was warm and very courteous and friendly and nice with a beautiful friendly smile at our arrival.The owner tries their best to make you feel welcome.The bathroom was clean and well decorated with a nice old newspaper advertisement collage in a frame.The decor is absolutely cozy and well thought out even a few life like birds on the light frame in the ceiling.The lighting is very good the front coffee store is all windows and has lots of good sunshine.The seating area was very good and well oriented with a light touch of decor. There are leather chairs that are really comfortable. The seating varies from wood chair to high chair to leather couch to leather single chair to comfortable cloth sitting that is in an adjacent room.Too bad they close around 1500 would make a great option in the afternoon for afternoon coffee with friend.A plus for Blue Rooster coffee has a drive thru.If you're thinking of coming we'll be worth the drive if you're coming from far away.Parking: The parking has empty spot on Saterday.
