This is a fast food place. A slow fast food place to be exact. Definitely not fast like McDonalds, A&W, etc. They did use homemade burger patties, but the burger just wasn't dressed well as it could have been and reminded me of a fundraising burger that is sold outside in front of stores. The fries were sad, small little pre-made things. I see there are lots of good reviews about their other products. I'm curious enough to probably try eating something else there again. The place is clean so that's a big plus.

We came here at the recommendation of a friend and they did not steer us wrong. I had fried chicken and fries and my wife had chicken tenders and fries. The fried chicken was perfect in terms of “done-ness” and taste. Just the right amount of seasoning and breading. Crispy without being “crunchy”, but not soggy either. A hard combo to get in “home fried” chicken. The fries were so crispy, yet not overdone and still flavourful. The side gravy was just like something we would have whipped up from scratch at home. Great value for money and the staff’s pleasant demeanour and obvious ability to do their jobs make it a place we will definitely come to again.

Stopped in here for lunch and got the fried chicken. Honestly the best fried chicken I've had in a long time. It was also ready very quickly. I was pleasantly surprised with how good everything turned out. Highly reccomend and I'll for sure be back.

They were so kind and accommodating to us today. The owner heard us ordering and came out to check on some allergy modifications. He went out of his way to ensure we were all fed in a way that ensured we were safe from a dietary perspective - even offering to run to the store to get an off menu item. Just a real hometown honesty and kindness and generosity. I would support them again in a heartbeat.

First visit in 15+ years, first visit for my wife. Food was good, portions were huge, prices are decent. BUT HERE IS WHAT I DIDN'T LIKE!!! While eating our meal we watched the main cook (blue touque) rub his hands on his head several times (gloves on), then slides those hands over his face, then turns and prepares the food with those same dirty gloved hands! Disgusting behavior. Why is staff wearing winter gear in the kitchen in the first place? Likely won't visit again, if I do...I'll be watching you...Mr blue touque! Yuck! That salt you taste might be his sweat!!!!!!
