Stopped at Lawson Heights Mall location, A&W seems to be very consistent and teen burger tastes same as it did 45 years ago.

I was served raw chicken and stale fries.Luckily I noticed the chicken was a bit too chewy and I was able to spit it out in time, but if i hadn’t i would’ve gotten extremely sick.The service was terrible, they refused to give my sister (who bought the food) a refund and she paid around $16 for both of our orders.We were unable to finish the food because we both lost our appetites.WOULD NOT RECOMMEND COMING HERE.if i could give this place negative stars, i would.

3rd time now i have come literally just for the onion rings and they said they are all out. Do they just not want to cook them or is someone not ordering the right amount of inventory???

I went to this location for lunch last Saturday. It was fairly busy but the service remained good. I ordered chicken strips with fries, gravy, and root beer. The wait was approximately 10 minutes and the food was served piping hot (and was delicious). Adding gravy to their fries is a game changer - highly recommend!

The customer service from the older lady behind the counter today was CRUEL. I was waiting in line and i was next and she was a few feet away busy doing something, so as i was waiting i was talking to my friend beside me and since the mall is very loud i didnt realize that the lady behind the counter was ready to take my order. she said hey and i didnt hear her and then she blatantly yelled at me with so much attitude “HELLO” so i responded with the same amount of respect i was getting and said “HELLO” back. i continued to order and then she said “if you arent going to be polite im not going to serve you”. Don’t expect me to be nice to you when you’re being straight up disrespectful. As im sitting down with my friends at a table, shes telling the guy that cleans the trays about me, pointing at me, then continues to show security where im sitting. Unbelievable

This location is very slow, they had absolutely nothing ready and everyone there was standing around waiting for their food. Our food was ok but nothing special for the price and my drink was room temperature with no ice and didn’t feel full.

This is only in regards to this location. I stopped by to get an English muffin bacon and egger and it was a terrible experience service wise. Firstly, I would suggest that two people should be on the tills on Rider Game days. There was one woman to start and she took a long time with orders. Eventually, another man came out and we all thought that things would speed up, but no, they didn't. The woman had messed up an order and it took both of them to figure it out instead of one of them dealing with this while the other took orders from the growing line. They also didn't tell me until my order wax ready that the English muffins were frozen so they gave me a bun instead. I had no problem with this, especially as I didn't want to hold things up any more than they had been. Walking by afterwards I saw these two dealing with other disgruntled customers. Management needs to pay more attention to this store, I think.

I keep giving this location a try.It is slow slow slow slow!!. 20 minutes for a simple combo with only 3 other people there is just too long. They often have no staff and the front worker takes an order then goes back to cook it, then comes up front to serve it to you all while people are still waiting at the till. Just the worst. This is also a health code issue as there is no hand washing in between.Every time.. With out exaggeration.. Every time. They forget items or give incorrect items, they forget cheese on a cheese burger, give out wrong pie or give fries instead of poutine. There is ALWAYS without fail an Issue. WORST OF ALL ..THE STAFF LOOK LIKE THEY ARE MISERABLE!Can we also talk about how not a single time has my drink ever been full.....just half at best. When asked to make sure its full they say you have to pre buy a refill!
