Drinks were good. Most of the food was poor. Way too much ornamental lettuce. Bao buns were hard and crispy, not soft and fluffy. Salad was meh, mozza sticks were ok. Probably won’t be back unless if it’s for a drink before or after a movie.

Aurora, our server was great!!! Friendly, efficient and knowledgeable about the entire menu. I am celiac and I was able to have restaurant chicken fingers for the first time in years. They were delicious! This restaurant knows about gluten free; I will definitely be back.
Dietary restrictions: Most of the menu can be gf. Separate fryer. We had crab dip w corn chips, then I had chicken fingers and wedges. Amazing.

We ordered poke bowl, shrimp bowl and shrimp appetizers. I was excited to try everything since this is one of the few restaurants in Saskatoon offering gf breaded food. The portions were small and bowls too spicy. They were out of ribeye steak skewers and calamari, I would call in advance if you hope to get them. Service was good and quick. I don’t think we will be back due to the portion size and unavailability of couple items on the menu. Otherwise kudos for offering almost all on menu gf.

My wife and I enjoyed a very satisfying tasteful dinner at the Black Rose Whiskey Club. We highly recommend them!! Excellent service, food, and atmosphere!!
It's too bad that this place isn't more popular as it was nearly empty.
They also have different theme nights like a karaoke night, open mic night, live bands play on the weekends and other fun events.
They have an amazing unique menu and lots of cocktails, and of course even more whiskey. We weren't there to drink, but I tried a pint of the Rose Whiskey house Lager and it had excellent flavour and smooth finish (so a dangerous one). Kathleen liked it too.?
The location was perfect so that we could immediately transition to a nice river walk. We crossed the Victoria Bridge and circled back for a nice lovely evening lap around the River Landing area.
Parking: Free parking after 6pm and on Sundays.

Im sure the food is okay, but this is for the drinks, Slow service, guy asked us if we wanted drinks, offered water we said yes, sat for 5 minutes until someone else came up and checked on us, and then we finally got water. there is 3 people behind this bar. Just talking and fooling around they also have no coolers which is BS. I'm just waiting for a movie to start but this experience is terrible. I should of just went to the vip instead. Don't waste your money here. They lost out on serious tipping for crappy service

Stopped by while in the city after an awesome concert. Sat outside as the evening was nice, a large group of individuals where outsidebin the entry way smoking (tobacco and other items), when mentioned to staff was informed someone was the owner so we had to put up with the smoke.
I doubt I'll return or recommend others to come here.

Vegan Saskatoon
My mom and I went in for gluten free day as we’re both celiac and we’re so thankful for this. I haven’t heard of any restaurant doing anything like this, which makes them cutting edge. We ordered 4 vegan dishes that were gluten free and we’ll be back! Great waiter as well, Mark I believe. And Jess the owner/chef is such a sweetheart! We got the mushroom medley, guac and chips (usually comes with wontons and they even have GF but they’re not both GF and V), a tofu dish that’s not on the menu yet, and potato wedges. Deep fried crunchy goodness! I love that they have a completely separate fryer for vegan items, as most restaurants don’t offer this even if they offer vegan options.
