Went with a large group and the service was impeccable. The staff handled everything so well with lots of grace and humor even though we had different people coming and going to lots of different orders at different times

Jessica was our bartender and she was absolutely amazing! I had an embarrassing moment when my tap-to-pay on my phone didn’t work, and my brother had to come by to drop off a card. Jessica was super understanding and didn’t make it awkward at all. Her service was awesome — really friendly, down to earth, and professional. I’d definitely recommend coming here. Great vibe and even better staff!

I had a very disappointing experience with Boston Pizza on the night of August 4th.

We called ahead to place an order and spoke with a lady manager, informing her we might arrive right at midnight or 15 minutes late, as we were working late at the Saskatoon Ex. She acknowledged this and assured us it wouldn’t be a problem.

When we arrived just 10 minutes after midnight, the doors were locked. We saw the manager and her son inside. Shockingly, they exited through another door to avoid us. When we approached her outside and told her we were there to pick up our order, she simply said the restaurant was closed and there was nothing she could do. Meanwhile, her son was carrying our food out to their car — presumably taking it home.

There was no courtesy call to check if we were on the way, despite her knowing our situation. We made the effort to call ahead, communicate clearly, and drive there after a long shift — only to be ignored and dismissed.

This is not how a professional manager should treat paying customers. The lack of basic communication and respect was frustrating and completely unacceptable. I left angry, disappointed, and with wasted time and no food.

The food was cold and wasn’t served at a reasonable time despite the restaurant being dead. The kitchen staff were shouting and yelling, and everybody else eating at the time were also not pleased with the atmosphere and the food outcomes.

Can always count on BP for good food. We just found out about the 20-minute lunch deal too, which is REALLY nice!

Myself and several friends had dinner last night and overall it was a pleasant experience. However, after we had paid our server, Cassidy H, returned to our table to publicly lecture us on tipping culture in front of the whole restaurant. She implied that we cheaped out on tipping her and the kitchen staff, and insinuated that we were poor due to being university students.

This was an unpleasant experience for all of us, especially since a majority of us had tipped a non-insignificant amount. None of us had ever been treated this way by a server and we were all dumbfounded that customers would be treated this way.

Please pay your staff so that I don't have to.

I’ve never left a review like this before, but what happened at Boston Pizza today was completely unacceptable.

Our server, Cassidy H, gave us subpar service in my opinion. Despite this, we still individually tipped between 10–15%, which we felt was fair for the service we got.
After we finished paying, Cassidy came back to our table and yelled at us in front of the entire restaurant, accusing us of not tipping and belittling us by calling us “poor university students”. She stated she will have to pay directly out of her pay-check now because of us (even though we tipped fair). This public outburst was shocking, humiliating, and completely uncalled for. It was not only unprofessional it was downright disrespectful.

No customer should ever be treated like this, especially when they’ve acted respectfully and paid their bill (and tipped). This was hands-down the worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had. I believe I have the discretion to tip what I want based on the service I got and we were not treated as so. I hope management takes this seriously and speaks with Cassidy about basic customer service and human decency as this was very inappropriate.

My experience at your Boston Pizza restaurant was ruined by a self-righteous waitress.

Cassidy H. felt it necessary to rudely explain the concept of tipping culture to my friends and I after we had finished paying. She claimed that we had not tipped fairly based on the service that she provided, which is untrue. I personally tipped 15%, which is standard. Regardless, it was not her place to publicly lecture us, as paying customers, on tipping etiquette. It came off as arrogant, unprofessional, and insulting. Tipping is my choice as a customer, and I do not need some rude waitress to tell me otherwise. What ever happened to “the customer is always right”?

Never have I been treated so poorly by a restaurant employee. My opinion of your establishment has been permanently tarnished from this experience, and I doubt that I will ever return. Management should seriously reconsider their employment of Cassidy H.

So we were all nice and respectful to our server, Cassidy. And everything was good, but when it came time to pay she came back and gave us a lecture on tipping culture and acted insulting to us based on our status as “broke” university students. Nothing to complain about food wise but she was a little sanctimonious especially since all she did was bring the food, and she didn’t even do it by herself. I should add that out of our party of 4, 3 of us tipped around 10-15%
