I don’t usually write reviews, but what Mehtab did today deserves real recognition.
Please focus on the name “Mehtab” — because she is the sole reason I’m taking the time to write this. Not because I have to, but because I genuinely want to shine a bright light on a person who is the very definition of top-tier customer service. Think Gordon-level excellence, condensed into a few minutes of interaction.
Her customer care wasn’t just good — it was exceptional. So exceptional that I literally paused my meal to write this before anything else. She didn’t just take my order; she welcomed me with warmth, kindness, and real attentiveness — the kind companies try to train, but almost never manage to truly instill.
Mehtab made me feel seen, valued, and appreciated — not as a random customer, but as a human being. The calm confidence and genuine care she showed isn’t something you can teach. It’s not a script. I went to this location and there was a young man who served me his name was Zohaib. He was really nice even offered me a crown while I was there. I ordered the Bacon King meal and this young man was the only one he took my order and packed my order and gave it to me. He took my order very professionally and at the window I was there for probably 30-40 seconds. I will definitely come back and would want to see this young man serve me again. Great job 👏!!

I'll be avoiding burger king permanently after yesterday. The staff being rude is one thing, but this was supposed to be a chicken Jr. It's 3mm thick, tasted like rancid oil and as if it had been cooked a few times through the day. They are clearly serving bad food and skipping food health and safety standards. I see i can't post pictures, oh well. Location is not good, even for a fast food place. There are several other food options near this location, for your health it's prob. Best to go try one of them.
I visited the Burger King on 8th Street in Saskatoon yesterday around 5–6 PM. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. One Asian Punjabi staff member spoke with a lot of anger and attitude. I had to repeat my order several times, and it was very frustrating.
There was also a new staff member who clearly did not know how to take orders properly. While I understand that training takes time, the way the other staff handled it was unprofessional. Instead of calmly guiding both the staff and customers, the person was rude and spoke in an irritated manner.
When I placed my order for a burger and fries, I was asked in a harsh tone, which made the whole experience unpleasant. Customer service should be polite and respectful, especially in a food service place.
I hope Burger King management takes this seriously and improves the attitude and training of staff at this location.
