Desserts are beyond incredible, so we decided to dine in for a birthday dinner. Unfortunately we didn't find that same level of satisfaction for the food. Featured entrees were very simple, portions too small, and expensive. Lobster ravioli as an appetizer left us disappointed and looking for the lobster. Ravioli was deflated and small. Entrees (featured lamb and bison short rib) were less than impressive. And no birthday dessert. We went elsewhere after dinner to try not leaving the night disappointed and unfulfilled. Will be back for their desserts but sadly would not recommend for a dinner night out.

Absolutely love it here, but disappointed to see foie gras on the menu. Foie gras production is cruel and unethical, as it usually involves the force feeding of ducks and geese. It is illegal in many countries.

Thank you so much for a wonderful dinner. We shared the walnut morel tagliatelle and the bison short rib. Both were delicious and because they were we decided to also have a giant a dessert. No disappointment there, the Schmoo Torte was a-mazing! Thank you so much. Highly recommend.

We stopped in thinking we would get a nice piece if cake. We ordered a charcuterie board- omg- what a flop!! For the price it was not worth it. That was embarrassing, it needs improvement if its going to be for that price. I love cake, so I ordered the raspberry angels foodcake because it looked delicious. It was blan, not recommended if you're expecting sweet. But they did have a really good sangria- i ordered the Strawberry rhubarb raspberry sangria. That was delicious. Server delivered food, thats it- they didnt check up or ask if we needed anything.

Super dining experience for supper! Pictured are lobster ravioli, bison burger, eggplant & tomato dish, mushroom tagliatelle pasta, and trifle dessert. Tons of flavour in all dishes. And the appetizers were nicely portioned with light body, to assist in leaving room for the main and dessert course.

It breaks my heart to say how bad the food was this past weekend. The fries were drenched in so much oil they were limp and had no flavor. The bison burger was overcooked and also flavorless. This has been one of my favorite Saskatoon restaurants for decades, so I don’t know what happened.

Their desserts are top notch, the meals are also great but too expensive compared to their size. Broadway is a nice area and the atmosphere at Calories definitely reflects that.
We just finished dinner at Calories and I had to leave a review immediately. The food was absolutely delicious. Soups were great. This is the only place that serves beef tartar that was excellent and lamb shank was to die for. Service was top notch. Forgot the name of the server. It was a lady with purple hair. Super friendly and helpful. In my opinion this is one of the best restaurants in Saskatoon. With all food we had and drinks we were expecting much higher bill. The prices are more than acceptable
