This was my first visit to this establishment as we were looking for a gluten free option for my spouse and are from out of town. The servers at the front counter were very friendly and amd helpful. Ended up ordering a mocha and a birthday sugar cookie. Both were absolutely amazing!

We ordered a box of danties for our neighbor who is allergic to gluten. The danties were advertised as Gluten Free. Perfect gift right? Wrong! As you will see by the attached picture not all the items are Gluten Free. Why would you put gluten items in a gluten free box? Now there is a concern about cross contamination! I called and they could have cared less. $40 down the drain!
I had a Reuben which was delicious, albeit a little small. We had a second my wife and I shared and this one was gluten-free and actually better.
The beat part was the kind staff, and I watched them make the second Reuben and it was obvious that the woman making it cared about keeping it as to have as little gluten cross contamination as possible, and with love.
We will definitely be back.

I recently ordered a large holiday box for a family gathering, and everything was absolutely delicious! I also want to highlight how incredibly accommodating the staff were. I had mixed up their hours of operation, but they still went out of their way to make sure we received our treats in time to enjoy them. Wonderful service and amazing goodies. I highly recommend!

Everything about this place rocks, but the main draw is the lack of common allergens in their baking. People with allergies to egg, dairy, nuts, or other common food allergens can happily munch on a massive variety of delicious treats. They can also then sit down and eat, rest assured that cross contamination will not ruin their snack! The atmosphere is always lovely, its decorated simply but not without warmth and character. The employees have always been incredibly kind and joyful, and eager to assist with any questions you may have!! The parking here is limited, so that is worth noting, but there are many streets nearby where one can park. Id highly recommend giving this place a try, it has incredible value! P.s, the poptarts are very scrumptious!

Citizen Cafe and Bakery is a great place for a coffee break and a pastry that feels a step above the usual grab-and-go. The café has a cozy, bright vibe that works well for a quick stop or a longer sit with a laptop. My drink was balanced (not overly sweet), and the baked item was fresh with a good texture and flavor. Staff were friendly and moved the line efficiently, even when it got busy. For the $10–20 range, the quality and consistency make it an easy spot to recommend.
