City Perks is all about community and comfort, and we absolutely love it. It’s one of our go-to places for client meetings because it has such a welcoming vibe. The coffee is fantastic, and their fresh baking is always a hit. When the weather’s nice, the patio is such a great place to sit and chat—it’s like being in your own little corner of the neighborhood. It’s the kind of place that just feels good to be in, and we always leave in a better mood.

I've visited this place a few times since I love their patio seating and food is always consistent. I look forward to getting their maple bacon breakfast sandwich and usually a specialty coffee to pair with it. On some visits, the staff do seem rather annoyed when I inquire about certain pastries that they've offered in the past that I may not easily see on display. I do continue to go back as the pastries, coffee and breakfast sandwich are excellent although can be a bit pricey.

My husband called Sparrow Coffee/City Perk to order me a cheesecake for my birthday and was told it’s too busy this time of year to do custom orders! This was the only thing I asked for, so I was very disappointed. But I wonder what makes this time of year sooo busy if there aren’t doing any custom orders, shouldn’t be making pumpkin pies either. Either way I’m very very disappointed!

Very cute coffee shop just north of downtown. They make excellent baked goods daily, including special cheesecake flavours. The cappuccinos are amazing, I live out of province now and always make sure to stop in when I'm visiting!
Amazing service all around. I had "The Duke", which was delicious and super filling, as well as a gingersnap cookie and caramel latte. Some of the best coffee I've had. Absolutely worth it! It's more than just a place to get some food or drink.
