Ordered the $30 version from the app ‘Too Good to Go’. The premise is it’s supposed to be fresh baking that is just past its sell date but still very edible purchased at a discount. What I received was shocking.
I received 3 items in total from their 50% freezer (ie already super stale stuff that’s months old)
- a loaf of white bread worth $6 fresh ($3 in the discount freezer)
- a loaf of banana bread (no choc chips) worth $9 fresh ($4.50 in the discount freezer) an
- a 6 pack of white buns worth $6 fresh ($3.50 from the discount freezer).
How does this add up to $30 worth of product?? On the TGTG app, you pay $10+taxes for $30 worth of goods past their best before date. I could have picked these stale items from your freezer myself for the same price (there is no choice with the TGTG app).
These items wouldn’t have even have come to $30 when fresh. To receive them from your stale freezer (not even the freshly frozen one) is a complete slap in the face. This was my first purchase from this plan and I will never be back seeing as this is the way they do business.
(I knew it was from their outgoing stock because the store clerk showed me that freezer and the barcode of the item gets marked with a dash. The items I picked up had the same dash.)
The food smelled stale and tasted like cardboard. It went into the compost. Waste of money. Not to mention, it felt like I was inconveniencing the store keeper by showing up to pick up my order.

I bought your cinnamon buns at the Whistlestop Christmas Market in Moosejaw last week, they are so moist, perfectly sweet and gooey. I only wish tou were in Regina, closer to Moosejaw, I would definitely be a regular customer!!

We ordered some Strawberry Rhubarb and Pecan pies for our wedding from Donna. We received sooo many compliments on these pies. We have some leftovers and still can’t believe how delicious they are!

Very nice selection, especially jams and jellies. Amazing selection with some rare ones like gooseberry. Baked goods are great as well. A bit hard to find but definitely worth the effort.

Got an order on too good to go. Got a couple jars of jelly, some frozen bread and crescent rolls. The sourdough and spicy tomato jelly were my favorites, will be back to grab some pies and pickled veggies.

Stopped in Saskatoon at a market near the airport and purchase a loaf of multigrain bread from Donna’s. Best I’ve had in a long time. Thank you! 👍

Everything I’ve tried so far here has been great! I really like the spicy pickled garlic scapes, watermelon jelly, and cherry jelly. The Poppy Seed Roll and Brownies were very good too.
First off I love the simple homemade ingredients which is hard to find these days! 1st order I ordered pretzel buns and was told they do not have any. Then I got charged the wrong tax but appreciated that they caught it. Then I ordered hamburger buns and got sandwich buns. Second order, all my items were frozen and they advertise “ made fresh daily”? Not what I was expecting and they should be cheaper if frozen plus I needed them that day. I was told it is the time of the year? Not sure what that means as Christmas is a time of the year we appreciate fresh baked goods as advertised.
Delicious food and served with a warm smile, you don’t want to miss out on this one! Definitely worth the visit!

Hands down a big no to the baking , tried one of their pies , very bland and the crust wasn’t good
Very disappointed in the pie and the filling was tasteless , crust soggy also . Had high hopes for this place as they have a huge assortment of baking ,but unfortunately for me one bad item means I need to move on a find a another place

Tasty preserves and baked goods
I bought a chocolate zucchini loaf and a banana loaf at Gardenscape at the end of the last day at full price, so I expected a moist luscious fresh slice of each. They should have been marked down considerably as it was obvious after the first bite that they were at least three or four days old. I wanted to love them, but they were so dry that I had a mouthful of dry crumbs and almost choked on it. I had to drink water with a bite of the zucchini loaf still in my mouth in order to swallow it. Sorry, I expected better. So disappointed and a huge waste of my money.

Love the poppy seed roll. Honestly one of the best ever. It's too bad it's hard to find. I will definitely help spread the word.
