Was on vacation in Moose Jaw and drove up mostly for the Birria tacos because my girlfriend said they were to die for. She was not wrong one bit. Best tacos I've ever had by far and will be coming back. The craft beer was also amazing. Beautiful spot and an amazing experience!

Had a birthday reso for 12 there last eve, and the staff (both at Shelter and D/Cs) were amazing as always. It's a beautiful space, amazing food, and the friendliest staff for how chaotic it can get in there. Best part: they were super accommodating and unfussed when I changed the reservation count repeatedly on them... will 100% be back to host something else there! Thank you :)

If you want fast and casual, this place is awesome. Hard to find seating during prime hours but the best homemade salsa and far more legitimate vegan tacos/burrito than most places in the city. Good place to being friends when visiting the city
Homemade chips and guac are a must (comes with the awesome salsa)

First when we went to order they didn’t even know how to say the name of the foods on their menu, birria tacos were small and not birria tacos, they were mechada tacos. And I don’t understand why they sell “wacamole” if they are going to give you just avocado, wacamole has tomato, red onion, spices and avocado.

Great tacos! And good vegetarian options. Note in case this helps other out of towners looking for tacos: it’s the same establishment as shelter brewing. Look out for the little sign in the window. The beer at shelter is fantastic too!
