All the goodies, even the rare ones. Fully stacked with original spices from the old country.
Such nice people! I used to get Hungarian sausage from them about 25 years ago. Went back last month and the sausage was exactly as I remembered! They treated my son and I to many delicious samples and were very friendly and respectful. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for an honest family business that makes and sells delicious meats! Will definitely go back again!
It's so good that I'm rolling myself on the ground.
A quick shout out to Emco Finer Foods today for their many years of top end customer service and excellent selection of tasty treats (try the smoked pork!). It's always our pleasure to visit. 😃
We’ve used Emco every year for my son’s birthday for the last 7 years or so. They always do an outstanding job. Amazing food, great service. Only downfall is there is always way too much food left over :) We will continue to support this local gem!
Great butcher here in Saskatoon
A hidden gem on Ave C.
This locally owned shop has a wide assortment of meats, cheeses and other delights.
Staff is very accommodating and friendly.
They are always willing to provide a small sample for tasting before you buy a new product.
Lots of variety in other foods, condiments and specialty items.
Newly expanded and lots of space to browse and shop now.
A definite stopping off point for me to grab a fresh made ham sausage or other treat.
Wonderful place to shop for food from around the world!
I really don't understand why anyone can complain about this place. Hungarian shop owned by Hungarian people is different from typical chain store. Typical North American greeting is replaced by attention when the customer is ready; no pushing to talks about weather and no pushing to the tile!
... after recent enlargement, it is easier to stay longer and look for the various products. Prices are according to the products. And of course: the dry/ semi dry meat is more expensive than the soya based meat in the ordinary shops.
Well:
this is Hungarian Store, and it's expected to be different from all other shops in Saskatoon.
I love this place. 100% I stop every time I go to Saskatoon
Smoked Pork, ham curly, breakfast sausage are all awesome. Tons of imported dry goods too!
