I got large pizza i eat in the top waa burn and pizza made me sick for 3 days
Excellent. We had Capricciosa and Prosciutto Arugula pizzas. And starter Caesar salads. Salads were fresh crispy and generous shavings of Parmesan cheese. Will come again.
One of the few places in Saskatoon that makes the real pizza.

Two Thumbs Up!
I recently visited Famoso Pizzeria, and it turned out to be a really pleasant experience.
The pizza immediately stood out with its light, airy crust and that perfectly blistered finish. You can tell it’s made with care—the wood-fired flavor comes through in a subtle, satisfying way.
The sauce was fresh and balanced, not overpowering, which made every bite feel clean and enjoyable. The toppings were simple but high quality, letting the ingredients speak for themselves.
Nothing felt heavy, yet it was filling in just the right way.
What I also appreciated was the service—it felt warm, relaxed, and genuinely welcoming.
The staff were attentive without hovering, and everything arrived right on time. It’s the kind of place where you can sit back and enjoy your meal without any rush.
If you’re in Saskatoon and in the mood for good pizza, this is definitely a spot worth experiencing.

Went to Fomoso Pizza late on a weekday night and loved the whole experience! It was pretty quiet with just a couple of tables occupied, which made it feel relaxed and unhurried. They also have a great happy hour menu, which is a nice bonus.
A special shoutout to Yatri at the front—such a patient and efficient host! She handled delivery pickups and customers seamlessly, all while staying friendly and composed.
The place itself was spotless, including the washrooms (which is always a huge plus). You can really tell they care about cleanliness.
Now for the food—absolutely amazing. The pizza looked incredible when it arrived, and it tasted even better. The thick tomato base, perfectly melted cheese, and fresh basil made every bite lipsmacking good. We also tried the Bombay veggie burger from their plant-based menu, and it was packed with flavor—definitely reminded me of home.
Can’t wait to come back and try more from their menu. Highly recommend!

Round of applause 👏👏👏
Overall we had a wonderful experience at Fatburger/Famoso. We ordered off of both menus and were very pleased with everything. I would highly recommend stopping by! Long review below 👇🏻
Food: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I gave the food five stars because you can NEVER go wrong with the famous Famoso tomato soup! We also had the chicken sandwich with poutine from Fatuburger and were very pleased with that we got. The chicken was crispy on the outside, and juicy on the inside. Poutine had the perfect gravy to cheese ratio. Of course we had to end it off with a mini Oreo milkshake, which was delicious.
Service: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Ding our server was an absolute delight. She greeted us with a smile on her face, and it never faded the whole time we were there. A welcoming face, and welcoming energy. Anthony the chef was very welcoming as well, and had great charm/ humour.
Atmosphere: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
No complaints about the atmosphere. Nice pictures to look at, good things on TV, and music was at the perfect volume.
If I’m going to be extremely picky, a sign stating how to order would be nice. Before it was a sit down restaurant where you would wait to be seated, but now mixing it with a fast food place might be confusing to new customers.
I am very pleased with my experience. I will be happy to return, and I recommend trying this place out! Great job Famoso/ Fatburger!

This was our families favorite, authentic italian pizza place for which we used to drive 2.5 hours just to go have a pie... last time we went in it stunk like burger grease, my fave pizza wasn't on the menu, and the Gelato bar was gone.
I'll come back when fatburger gets the hell out.
I come to eat and smell excellent pizza, not to eat at a place that smells like cheap and crappy burgers.
The service used to be top notch, but since fatburger got in, it is terrible, plus the pizzas are soggy now. And the Margherita and prosciutto pizzas and Gelato are not there eventhough listed below.... update your website please!
A very disappointed family here!

Before the renovations to turn it into a Fat Burger - Famoso, it used to be a fantastic restaurant.
Since the renovations, the atmosphere has completely changed. Now it's just another fast-food joint on 8th Street where you drink from cardboard cups and order at the counter... all that's missing is a drive-thru.
We were regular customers, but now the welcoming atmosphere where you could relax and enjoy Italian food is gone. When you walk in, it smells like fried food instead of delicious pizza. Mixing the two is a big mistake, I think.
They've ruined this restaurant, and I'm very sad about it.

Since the restaurant is now under completely new ownership and has changed its entire concept, I no longer feel my older review is relevant or fair. I feel like any reviews from before the change should be disregarded.
We were regulars at the old version and tried the food for the first time under the new ownership tonight. The biggest change is that it’s no longer a traditional sit-down restaurant; it now operates like a fast-food/counter-service spot.
The pizza itself was similar to what we remembered, but the dips were noticeably lower quality. Service was fine(my order was take out). Vibe noticeably different, not bad, just not as welcoming.
My main issue was food safety/hygiene: with an open kitchen, in the 2 minutes I was there watched staff handle finished food with bare hands. I understand bare-hand contact during prep when food will still be cooked, but touching ready-to-eat items without gloves is gross and genuinely put me off eating my meal.
Not bad, but definitely not the same!
Goood luck!
Everything is fantastic and very delicious. The crews very friendly and helpful so, think about this is the one of the best places in Saskatoon. Thanks…
