Tried calling them, no answer, so posting review instead.
Foods good but when you charge me $12 for calimari and send this... I feel pretty ripped off and disappointed.

Walked in and it was boiling hot inside, no I’m not going thru menopause, it was just ridiculously hot.
Ordered calamari and 2 piece cod. Calamari came out brown and crunchy, not crispy batter with normal chewy calamari texture, and not gold but brown and crunchy like a nacho chip. Ate two pieces couldn’t taste anything but grease, didn’t eat anymore. Rest of food came, fish was good, fries were good but certainly not a big helping, a very small helping and it’s the cheapest thing on the plate, thought could’ve given a bit more. Coleslaw was very good again though only a little bit. Told waiter to take away the “calamari” and he never said a word about how much was left, and never offered to take it off the bill when I told him it was way over done and no good.
Good fish, good fries and slaw but small amounts.
Go to Gibsons.

Had the 2 piece cod with fries. It came with coleslaw and tartar sauce (takeout) The fish batter was crispy and tasty. The cod was tasty and not overcooked. The slaw was good as well. The fries were a home made style, tasty but could have used a couple more minutes in the fryer, none the less were good. Atmosphere wasn't the best..the tvs were off, no one was dining in and I was there about 5:15pm. Friendly guy at the counter answered all my questions and the order was prepared quickly. I will return in the future

Fishing and chip were over cooked and greasy. Fries were over cooked to.
Restaurant was empty and service was slow and had to ring a bell even to pay.

So I had tried the cod a couple weeks ago and very much enjoyed it. Decided to try the halibut and kids haddock meal today. Worst fish I have ever had. First of all the kids haddock was a complete joke. Everything was burnt. Fries and fish. And once I got to the fish I was unable to find the fish. They pretty much served me a fish stick that consisted of 90% burnt batter at 10% fish. And the "Halibut" I am genuinely unconvinced I was served halibut. But am not certain I was served another fish so I'm suspicious about that. Regardless was the smallest piece of halibut ever been served. It was 60 % burnt batter and 40% fish. Fries were also terrible. First time I went it was fresh cut. Maybe they just burnt the hell out of them and made them look like frozen ones but they were awful. The chefs should've been embarrassed sending that out. My mom enjoyed the tartar sauce and coleslaw tho

Cozy local fish and chip joint. I LOVE that I can eat real fish and chips while still being gluten free. I get it, it's a deep fry place, but everything felt greasey. Would definitely go back though.

Large portions of fish, all my food was excellent. The Mushroom caps are not stuffed with seafood as I thought, they are deep fried mushrooms only. But over all very good food.

The fish and seafood was so delicious the size of fish was large and the home cut fries were very good and well cooked done right. The Manager (Sky) served us and was the best service I’ve had in a long while seeing us every need for a fabulous dining experience, great job Sky. I highly recommend trying the food here you won’t be disappointed I gave it 5 Stars gladly.

It was very difficult to follow GPS directions going to the place. It took us 40 minutes of going around and making 4 u-turns to get there
Wheelchair accessibility: The parking concrete barriers make it difficult to get to the main door, there was no open space to manipulate a walker or wheelchair through those barriers

This place has an excellent dill pickle poutine. The fish was also good.

Overall...Meh, not horrible, but we won't be back.
Pros
-Portion size was excellent, but given the price expected.
- Fries, fried pickles, and fried mushroom caps were good. Though likely from frozen.
- staff member (only one person we saw working) was very nice and took the bad meal back and did not charge us for it.
Cons
- fish has a very doughy breading, did not turn out crispy at all.
- haddock had good taste, but again was doughy, only the thin ends were crispy at all.
- pickerel, we had to send back, the breading was not cooked, inside breading was still uncooked, wet dough. And overall was rubbery...could not eat it.
