Generous servings, good noodle bowls. Really enjoyed the lemon chicken as it is lightly battered and the lemon sauce is nice. Their vegetables are nicely cooked with a bit of crunch (which is how I like it). This family owned business is one we like to support.
Nothing fancy, but good food.

In January 2025, I placed an order with Fong’s Kitchen, and it was one of the most disappointing dining experiences I have had. I ordered the chicken chow mein and a Vietnamese iced coffee. The chow mein was profoundly underwhelming—there was scarcely any chicken to be found, and what little was included was dry and flavourless. The dish itself was cold upon arrival, utterly lacking seasoning, and frankly inedible. I managed only four bites before giving up. It raises serious concerns about both culinary standards and basic quality control.

The ordering process was equally frustrating. The staff member who took my call struggled significantly with English, requiring me to repeat my address four times and ultimately spell it out letter by letter. Despite charging a delivery fee, the service that followed did not meet even a minimal professional standard.

The delivery driver appeared unfamiliar with basic navigation tools and had difficulty locating a straightforward address. I had to call multiple times to guide him, as he seemed unable to rely on Google Maps. What should have been a routine delivery turned into an unnecessarily stressful ordeal.

Most concerning of all, I became ill shortly after consuming the food and experienced “food poisoning” for two days. Food safety is not optional—it is a fundamental obligation in food service industry.

As customers, we expect not only competence, but also safe, properly prepared meals. This experience was deeply disappointing and wholly unacceptable.

My family had a large group booking for a birthday and the staff was awesome. The food was great! The staff anticipated our needs before we even had to ask, if seating arrangement was good, water, providing kids toys (huge bonus) and extra plates for cake. Highly recommend for a family supper.

I've always wondered if this was still good after my last visit a few years ago, andnit it definitely is worth visiting. The staff are courteous and delightful to talk to. The food is quick, simple, and has good flavour. One of the better Vietnamese noodle dishes in town, in my opinion. Will be back soon. Score one for the team! (Now to brush up on my Cantonese... ?)

I used Google maps to find a good Chinese style restaurant close to the Yellowhead highway as we were passing through. Bi saw the soups were highly rated and 2 in our car were all for it. It is a small diner in an industrial strip building off of faithful ave. Nothing fancy. But the food was excellent and fast coming out. Specials are posted on a flip chart by the till. I would come back here. Prices and quantity was reasonable.

At our table we had chicken and shrimp pad Thai (very good) ginger beef (incredible) spring rolls (good but not my favourite) and 2 pho which were both really great. I loved the opportunity for more of a pan Asian meal AND all gluten free!! The experience was perfect, the tea was nice the lady serving us was hilarious, kind and just an absolute treat. We had such a fun and truly delicious meal!

Dietary restrictions: Most of the menu is gluten free!

This is a sister restaurant to Summer Roll - I believe her daughter runs that one. We order from here to get the same menu with less of a wait. I brought a toddler here and they even had some magnets for her to play with and take home, and they were willing to serve her a plate of sliced cucumbers when that's all she wanted from our meals.
