Laid back casual atmosphere. Great place for fish and chips. I don't like fish and chips most places I go because they are too oily and have too much batter. Call me crazy but I get a headache and don't feel well after eating really oily fish and chips. I will try them out however when I get the craving. These did have a standard amount of batter and did have oil coming off them but I didn't feel overloaded and sick after eating 2 pieces which was great! Coleslaw side was traditional and just what I wanted. Fries were traditional homestyle which were also good. Waitress was very friendly and accommodating. Will be back again another day.

We had an amazing experience at Gibsons tonight! The best fish n chips we’ve ever had, fresh and tasty including the coleslaw. Tamara was outstanding as our server as well. 👌🏻 We will definitely be back again soon and often.

We were here about three years ago and we didn't like the fish and chips. The fries were great. The fish was greasy when I took a bite. The coating was overcooked. We were craving seafood, so we thought we would give them another try. This time, we were quite happy with our meal. The fish and batter were perfect as was tge fries and coleslaw. Not sure what happened from our first visit to the recent visit. But the food was great. We will definitely be back for fish and chips
