I ordered one fiesta potato and one enchilada. The employee was so rude. I just told her to put chicken instead of beef in fiesta potato because of allergy. She said she can’t do that and continuously arguing with me. I told her more than 5 times. She was really rude and giving us attitude as well. I told her about franchise rule because I worked for guac mexi grill. The floor was also wet and there was no sign too.

Unfortunately, my recent visits have left me questioning whether the allure of their food is enough to outweigh the growing frustrations of a disappointing experience.
Let’s start with the positives: the food. Guac Mexi Grill still delivers on flavor. Their burritos remain a delicious combination of well-seasoned proteins, fresh toppings, and vibrant sauces. If it were just about the taste, this review would have been glowing. But, as with any dining experience, food alone isn’t the full picture.
Now, the negatives—and they’ve been adding up. Over time, I’ve noticed the portions becoming more… modest. A scoop of guacamole that used to be generous now looks like it’s being rationed for the apocalypse. Asking for an extra sprinkle of cheese feels like negotiating a trade deal. It’s hard not to feel like the generosity that initially won me over has been replaced with a cost-cutting approach that leaves customers hungry for more—not in a good way.
The service, sadly, has followed a similar downward trajectory. On my last few visits, staff seemed rushed, indifferent, or downright irritable. Questions about the menu are met with impatient responses, and any special requests are treated as inconveniences. It’s disheartening because great service can elevate even a mediocre meal, but poor service drags down even the best food.
Guac Mexi Grill still has potential—it’s the kind of place I want to root for because their food is genuinely good. But unless they address these issues, I might have to start looking elsewhere for my burrito fix. A little kindness, attentiveness, and a return to the generous portions they were known for could go a long way in restoring the experience that made me a fan in the first place.

Magna made ordering such an easy process! Placing our order was initially intimidating but she easily completed orders for our entire group. Her welcoming demeanor and exceptional customer service have ensured that i will be coming back to this location. She deserves a raise!

I like there burritos a lot have been here for so many times but today suddenly looks like manager was serving and was telling anything more than one scoop is extra and also said more than one line of burrito sauce would cost extra never ever had the issue before and when said would like to talk to your head she said talk to my owner about it that is our policy. Looks like she do not care for business being manager

Great portion sizes decent prices. I ordered the reg shrimp burrito and it must have had 12 shrimp in it also was super tasty. Staff was very friendly would Definitely recommend

We visited today. Not only the food was great but the service was above and beyond. A sweet girl named Meghna took and prepared our order. She is a delightful person, so welcoming and took absolute care explaining the flavours and preparing our order. Her cheerfulness made our day. We are in the process of moving to Saskatoon. We will be back often not only for the food but also such amazing service.

Had bad experience before of rice bieng cooked so less.But i gave another chance and all was fine.
