Haywoods is a place you go to for the traditional bar food. I would say that it's fine, nothing special.HOWEVER, they advertise that their specialty is fish and chips. Oh boy, if you want fish and chips, this place is one of, if not the hottest spot in the city. $17$ for a 2 piece cod, 19$ for a 3 piece, 21$ for a 3 piece with a poutine with either soup or salad as your side. Got soup, was excellent.Not sure why, but I have had a hankering for fish and chips lately, and as a self proclaimed Saskatoon restaurant expert, this place is it if you want fish and chips.Thanks, keep up the fish and chips with a reasonable price. I'll be back, multiple times.I often don't rate restaurants on what they are decent at, but what they excel at. If you order Fish & Chips, I hope you enjoyed them as much as I did.

The service here is absolutely fantastic! The food is made in house and the onion rings are some of the best I've had! Would definitely recommend if you are in need of a delicious filling meal and a drink after a day of work.

Ordered off skip the dishes for dinner tonight and was very disappointed. Ceaser salad was only lettuce and ceaser dressing, lasagna noodles were very over cooked, and the wedgie deluxe was very salty. Was definately a waste of money and will not order from here again.

I asked for medium rare steak it came well done. Sweet potato fries were burnt. They put my underage daughter and I in the bar. The waitress was laughing really loud with the bar drinks about the good glory days. Really bad atmosphere.
