We had an amazing server that paid attention to detail and explained all of our menu choices in great detail.
Hearth does it again! Between the food that absolutely blows your tastebuds away, the fantastic drinks, and the amazing staff there is nothing better. We will be back over and over again. Highly recommend.
Went here and had a few drinks and food. The drinks were delicious, but they took a long time to come to the table. We ordered 3 rounds and each time it took 10+ minutes to get the drink. It was busy, so I understand but seems they may have been understaffed. Food - we shared a bunch of plates. 1. Brussel Salad - amazing. Refreshing and light. 2. Mushrooms - probably our fave thing we ate. Cremy and tasty. 3. Sausage and Polenta - it was spicy and delicious! Just a little small for the price. 4. Seasonal Pasta - the noodles were slightly underdone and the flavours were lacking a bit 5. Braised Beef - amazing flavor! I would have liked it a touch more tender, but overall good.
Luca was a wonderful waiter, and our ‘Tasting Menu' was quite enjoyable. Favourite things - the cucumber appetizer and the Berry Crisp!
Very tasty food and reasonable prices. Waitress was very good and was very helpful in responding to our questions
Hearth is our favourite restaurant in Saskatoon, hands-down. It is our go-to for special events, including birthdays, anniversaries, and family outings. The atmosphere is excellent— somehow artsy and laid-back. Elegant but not stuffy. The service is approachable and friendly from the moment you enter. The staff are always organized, and the place has a great flow. And the food! We must have been to the new location at the Remai ten times since it’s opened, and we have yet to order a single dish we didn’t enjoy. The mushrooms, the carrot entree, whatever the seasonal beef or pork option, the sticky toffee pudding… everything is delicious, perfectly executed, and hearty. Would 10/10 recommend to anyone in Saskatoon— from visitors to locals, foodies to people who just love to eat. Hearth is outstanding and we can’t wait to return.
Overall - excellent. Food was a real treat! Loved how our waiter gave us the ‘low-down' on each dish ordered.
Awesome service!
Beautiful space, amazing meal. Visiting Saskatoon for the first time from Toronto and couldn't have had a better introduction. Can't wait to return!
AAAAHHHH Hearth, you are one amazing restaurant! Me and the family enjoyed Hearth right after walking through the rRemai mModern Museum (it has its own Google review).
Imagine this, it was a beautiful Spring-Summer weather in Saskatoon sitting at around 27C and you are sitting in the patio with a cold beer in hand and having lunch with family….life is good!
First of, we had wonderful servers but didn’t get the chance to get their names, you guys know who you are(gentleman with pink funky glasses and another one with a peace tattoo on his wrist, you guys are great!
Here comes the food…..
1. I got their burger, Juicy med rare 6 oz beef patty with crispy spring mix and a nicely toasted brioche bun…oh yeah and the home fries, YUM!!!
2. Saki got the daily special, beer battered Pike fillet i the same Bun and soup to pair with. It was one of the best beer battered fish we’ve had and the best fish in a bun at that!
3. My BIL and Niece both got the Bolognese and it was delightful. Sauce nicely covered the pasta and the pasta was just perfectly cooked! *Chef’s Kiss*
4. Max got the kids cheeseburger and a side of poutine…he rates it 1000 out of 10. The poutine was extra yummy with a dollop of (was it like a creamy chimichurri or blue cheese dressing)
5. My other sisters(all 3 of them) all got the BLT with different sides. It was a humongous Sammy but it was not heavy. The bread is nicely toasted and it was very light. The bacon was crispy and not too salty. Crispy spring lettuce and a nicely toasted slice of tomato, can’t go wrong.
I Highly recommend Hearth. What can I say, Cold beer in hand, delicious meal and nice tan, all is good! Make sure to call for a reservation, we just got luck we were there early and was able to snag a good spot in the patio.

Very very nice cooking
Edited to add: came back for supper and fell in love, we totally get the hype now. I would like to survive on Gluten free mushrooms alone forever - with the extra toast of course.
The panna cotta is divine - the mulled wine gelee is phenomenal, and the presentation is stunning with the micro meringues and edible florals. Yum.
The polenta fries are also phenomenal - such a fun tasty snack, crunchy texture and the hot honey is perfect.
We will stick to the supper menu over brunch, but consider us converted
Previous review: we were disappointed to not love our first Hearth experience!
Having heard such rave reviews for years, we looked forward to try out brunch last weekend for my birthday. We ordered the mushroom hash and cassoulet to share. The mushroom hash tasted amazing, and the cassoulet was good (no issues but not special either, wouldn’t order again), but we really missed out on any texture - the hash browns were soft and saucy, when a crunchy hash brown would have made such a difference, this was probably missed even more so because the cassoulet (when gf modified) is also a very soft dish being so heavy on the baked beans.
London fog was great! Cocktails were good but we probably would skip next time - we both enjoy trying new drinks but they were much “busier” than we’re accustomed to so we’re probably not the target consumer for these.
Being gluten-free, reviewing the menu beforehand I felt good about the range of options. I enjoyed the sticky toffee pudding. It was a small thing - but I was very disappointed by the “$5 gluten free toast” which is on the high-end for what typical gluten free bread substitutes are in restaurants… but this was a sorry excuse for a single slice of toast. I’m accustomed to the smaller size of gluten free bread, but this more closely assembled a large saltine cracker… and it wasn’t a neat artisan bread either, it was a dry white bread. In hindsight I wish I had said something, but I didn’t want to be the ridiculous customer complaining about overpriced undersized bread. It felt odd when in other ways the menu is so accommodating for dietary restrictions but then you feel totally ripped off with simple toast…
a restaurant with a good view of the museum building
The atmosphere is really nice, and the food is quite good. However, the lunch menu isn’t very diverse, which was a bit disappointing. There were no available seats, so we had to sit at the bar table, but the service was great.
Hearth is my go-to restaurant in Saskatoon. It's the only spot in town that really meets the high dining standards I've seen in other cities around the world. The dishes are always well-executed with a lot of attention to detail, and the flavors stand out from anything else locally. I also appreciate that the menu changes every season—it keeps things interesting and gives you a reason to come back regularly. I also like that it's the only place where I'm not even done eating and in already thinking about my next visit.
The atmosphere it's great and the architecture of their place it's also great.
If you're looking for consistently great food, this is the place.
