Amazing food. Waitress was very hospitable and knowledgeable about the dishes and sauces. Dubai chocolate cake is an absolute must try at this restaurant!! As well as the breaded chicken on rice. Very genorous portions too. Would definetely come back, after the amazing service and amazing food + atmosphere.

Great place to have a lovely, cozy, family dinner! Delicious food. Try their kebobs, best in town. Everything was halal. Pasta was also fantastic! Even ambience was good. Large and comfortable.
Exceptional food. So tasty, so fresh, just great. And service was even more exceptional. I apologize if I am wrong with his name, but Yusuf, the gentleman in charge, was just wonderful. The ambience is great. Clean, well lit, unlike some other dark restaurants. Overall, our group had a wonderful experience in this gem of a restaurant.

Met some friends for supper. This is the cleanest restaurant in Saskatoon, it was the first thing I noticed. Tried some appetizers and all were delicious. The kebabs were flavorful, but my fave was the half chicken - so moist and yummy. Prices are very reasonable, portions are large. I definitely will be back!
The food is amazing and the service is spectacular! 2nd time ordering from Star of Ishtar and I’m as impressed as I was the first time. The half Ishtar chicken and lamb chop platters are our go-to. I also recommend the dolmas. Everything was cooked perfectly and full of flavour. Despite being very full as of writing this - I honestly cannot wait to order again!
