Okay folks, now, I couldn’t rate much on atmosphere as it’s a pick-up location, and as we ordered online, but I will say this, this is a must try.
I ordered the volcano burger combo and my wife ordered the Karaage burger. Holy hell, fresh, fresh, fresh and tasty is the theme here.
First off, the fries, once we picked up our order, were so hot, crispy and not overly seasoned. Secondly, the burgers are amazing. Every item on them were so fresh and crispy, and the spicy mayo on mine was perfect, as was the bun and the burger itself. My wife was thoroughly impressed and as a whole, for both meals, it came to about $25, which was well worth it.
I would highly recommend this place. I have to mention that the gentleman was very friendly upon arrival as well. We will definitely eat here again and again.

The meat on this Kobe burger is other-worldly, and the flavors, especially those confusing but delicious carrots, are top notch. Both pickup and delivery times were good and the location was easy to find.

Pick-up only and always super fast. You can order anything on the menu and it'll be absolutely incredible. There's 3 restaurants in the same building and you can safely choose any of them but JapaShack is consistently on pointe!

The veggie burger was amazing! Still a little sweet but if the sweetness was dialled down a little bit this would have been the best veggie burger in the city 4/5 i might come regularly if this change was made ?
I get that the entrance is for pickup, but it can still be cleaned up so it doesn’t feel as sketchy.

I am updating this review. I stopped going here after loving it for years. The food quality started going downhill and the portions got smaller. You used to get a tonne of fries and now you only get a handful.

SO friendly! It felt great walking into an establishment who was genuinely friendly and happy for us to be there. The food was incredible. Volcano burger is delicious and the Kobe burger was as well. High recommendations !
Small, cute spot and prices are very good. Great value.
Vegetarian options: They have a vegetarian burger option that sounds really good!

Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible. No curbs. Might have trouble turning is there was a scooter

Katsu burger is amazingly good. I get it with a side of chicken Karaage with sauce on the side. Fryer always clean, sauces are off the chain, the Earl Grey aid is a marvel of modern beverage technology. This place is the bomb. Patio is on 8th street so it's not ideal but w.e.

The guy at Japa Shack should not be taking orders from customers and should be in the back. Very rude towards his own customers. The lady is super nice and lovely but the guy working there should be nowhere near that registry.
