Delicious homemade dining. Quality food. Lots of meat options.

Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp. But you'll need someone to open and close the door for you. Bathrooms are good size to fit wheelchair.

There are better Filipino restaurants than this. The serving sizes were small for the price, and the dishes were served one by one, leaving some of us waiting while others were already eating.

Closed and in a really, really scuzzy neighborhood, don't go.

When you order for delivery don’t expect this store to give you utensils. Maybe they think I have to eat Sisig with my bare hands? Also, when you order leche flan don’t expect it to be creamy and smooth. Look how dry and pasty it is. Definitely not recommend this place.

Lately I've been trying "new to me" foods and filipino was on the menu and I'll tell ya, WOW.
The pork belly adobo is unbelievably good. Seasoned and tender pork belly on top of pan fried potatoe slices in just an amazing gravy. Happiness was in this fat boys belly this day. And the service was so fast, the owner James made sure everything was perfect and provided a ton of information when asked about the dishes. Was pretty sweet to get a bit of filipino culture while eating. The pancit overload was also amazing with the crispy pork bites and spring rolls, well done Katmu.

Ordered some Lasagna and this was the worst I ever had. The packaging was so horrible and the bread slices were so poorly done. I can't speak for other dishes but i don't recommend at all.

Katmu Restaurant: A Taste of the Philippines in the Heart of SaskatoonFrom the moment we stepped into Katmu Restaurant, we were greeted with the warm and inviting atmosphere that promised an authentic Filipino dining experience. The menu, a vibrant tapestry of flavors, offered a variety of traditional dishes that cater to both the adventurous foodie and those seeking the comfort of home-cooked meals. The **Kare Kare** was a standout, with its rich and nutty sauce perfectly complementing the tender oxtail and vegetables. It was a dish that brought back memories of festive family gatherings. The **Lechon Bagnet** was another highlight, with its crispy skin and succulent meat, it was a true testament to the art of Filipino cooking. The **Fried Chicken** was, simply put, a revelation. Each bite was a perfect harmony of crispy exterior and juicy interior, seasoned to perfection. The **Salisbury Steak** and **Peppermint Steak** were both flavorful and cooked to our liking, providing a comforting balance to the meal.Dessert was the crowning glory of our feast. The **Leche Flan** was velvety smooth, with just the right amount of sweetness, while the **Sipa** was a delightful surprise that left us wanting more.In conclusion, Katmu Restaurant is a gem in Saskatoon for anyone looking to indulge in the best Filipino cuisine. The dishes we savored were not only delicious but also evoked a sense of nostalgia and joy with every bite. It's a place we'll certainly return to, eager to explore more of their exquisite offerings.
