Ordered some Lasagna and this was the worst I ever had. The packaging was so horrible and the bread slices were so poorly done. I can't speak for other dishes but i don't recommend at all.

Katmu Restaurant: A Taste of the Philippines in the Heart of SaskatoonFrom the moment we stepped into Katmu Restaurant, we were greeted with the warm and inviting atmosphere that promised an authentic Filipino dining experience. The menu, a vibrant tapestry of flavors, offered a variety of traditional dishes that cater to both the adventurous foodie and those seeking the comfort of home-cooked meals. The **Kare Kare** was a standout, with its rich and nutty sauce perfectly complementing the tender oxtail and vegetables. It was a dish that brought back memories of festive family gatherings. The **Lechon Bagnet** was another highlight, with its crispy skin and succulent meat, it was a true testament to the art of Filipino cooking. The **Fried Chicken** was, simply put, a revelation. Each bite was a perfect harmony of crispy exterior and juicy interior, seasoned to perfection. The **Salisbury Steak** and **Peppermint Steak** were both flavorful and cooked to our liking, providing a comforting balance to the meal.Dessert was the crowning glory of our feast. The **Leche Flan** was velvety smooth, with just the right amount of sweetness, while the **Sipa** was a delightful surprise that left us wanting more.In conclusion, Katmu Restaurant is a gem in Saskatoon for anyone looking to indulge in the best Filipino cuisine. The dishes we savored were not only delicious but also evoked a sense of nostalgia and joy with every bite. It's a place we'll certainly return to, eager to explore more of their exquisite offerings.

Katmu was so good! We had the Pinaputok Na Bangus (Pan roasted Milkfish with salsa) and Sizzling Sisig with rice. Both dished were phenomenal. The host and cook were both incredibly friendly. We will be back for sure!

The first meal I have tried in 2023.I found this Philippine restaurant has something I never seen before on their menu, so I head to here for a bite.I have ordered two dishes, one is Beef Kare-Kare, and the other is Roasted James Chicken. The beef is beef stew with vegetables, I put it on rice. The taste is not strong, and their have a very good sauce with it together, that improves the beef flavour. Also, the beef is soft and full of flavour. The roasted chicken is crispy, and it served with potato wedges. With the rich sauces, tastes creamy and gentle.I enjoy Philippine cuisine, not sure it is traditional standard, but I like it. I can tell those are different Asian cuisine between Chinese and Philippine!

It was our first time to order online (skip the dishes) from this restaurant and the experience was TERRIBLE. We ordered food worth $125, to name a few, crispy pata, beef salpicao, lechon pancit, sotanghon soup, fried rice. To our surprised the lechon pancit smells rotten/spoiled. Not so sure what kind of smelly ingredient they put on. Our first and will be our last to experience Filipino food from this restaurant. Overall, we were very disappointed!!

The food was good, but the water...... It needs a revamp. It tasted like soap and couldn't drink it at all.
