Place should shut down. Might be raw chicken. Staff is friendly. Not authentic pad Thai at all and smelt and tasted weird and no spice whatsoever.
I have loved Keo’s kitchen since they were on 33rd…..I have never had a bad meal here. I got takeout tonight and it was hot and fresh and delicious as always. It’s my comfort food. 🤍 I love the green coconut curry and Tom ka kai soup. It’s a gem. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Came here with family for lunch. Ordered 2 Pad Thai dishes and the Garlic and Peppper dish with beef. The Pad Thai was not a traditional Pad Thai, it lacked most of the main ingredients and garnish. It was missing eggs, tofu, bean sprouts, green onions and sliced lime on the side. It was completely flavorless. We ordered a level 4/6 spice and it was not spicy. The Garlic and Pepper dish was an even more disappointing dish. It too was completely flavorless and lacked the level 4/6 spice level. The vegetables were super soft and almost mushy. The dish was swimming in an almost gravy like sauce that was thickened using cornstarch or tapioca. It was awful. When I asked the server for hot sauce, they brought over a dish that was again thickened with corn starch or tapioca and was flavorless and not spicy.

A delightful spot, newly discovered and introduced by a friend. Great service and authentic cuisine. Parking is plentiful on street.

This was such good food here. The flavors of spices hits on all levels. I can see why this is stuck a popular spot. I wish they had this in my home town of Moncton. To even make it better the staff are awesome as well.

A friend treated us by ordering in supper and the positive reviews stood out so we tried Keo’s for the first time. The bird’s nest was bland, the peanuts on the pad thai were rancid, and the Tom Kha Kai soup was only broth with mushrooms and vermicelli noodles and none of the expected veggies, herbs, and lime wedge. The spring rolls were at least half the size of other restaurants. Very disappointing.

Ordered take out pad thai. The crushed peanuts tasted like they had been sitting in a bowl in the kitchen for months. The rest of the dish was meh, but i mean. Come on...taste your ingredients before you foist your food on your customers. Gross.

Horrible and do not recommend. Sent back my shrimp as the tails were still on, ordered a chicken with 5/6 spice as a replacement and there was no heat whatsoever. They also charged us $8.50 for a side of peanut sauce. Would not go here again.

Restaurantji Recommends
Overall a decent spot with good flavors. The noodles could’ve been cooked a bit more, but the portions were fair and service was friendly. Not bad, but didn’t quite stand out.

I wasted 90 minutes of my time waiting for the delivery. Just to end up tasting gross food that was not even worth a dollar. Then the same night I started vomiting and had a food poisoning. Never ordering from here again and definitely not recommending. Dirty and gross and low quality food. Such a disappointment this restaurant even exists.
I initially wasn't sure about this place as I had literally never tried Thai food before, but OH MY GOODNESS, the staff and service were amazing, and the food was SO GOOD! I especially preferred the rice noodles, which were AMAZING when dipped in the sauce provided in the Mixed Vegetables dish. I went here as part of a
3-family dinner party and when someone ordered the Dancing Prawns, the plate was steaming and it was very cool to watch. Also not very expensive, my dish only cost $18.50 with tax.
I used to love Keos. But the last few times my family has gone the service has been absolutely horrible. Unfortunately, it seems to be the same guy each time.
It takes so long for us to be greeted at our table and given water, there are no formalities towards making our experience enjoyable nor is there any effort in asking us if we would like to start out with a drink or appetizer.
Once we got our food, we weren’t quality checked until the last part of our meal when we were done eating, which was upsetting because we weren’t happy with the quality we had received. it would have been nice to have been able to problem solve with our server and to be given the opportunity to leave happy. To top it all off, our waiter “whistled” at us to hand him the dishes that were on our table and then left us alone without a bill or any upselling for dessert which we were still wiling to buy. At the end of our supper, I found our waiter crouched behind the bar on his cell phone, I asked for the bill which he promptly brought.
As a server myself, I understand busy times and having difficulty providing quality service 100% of the time, sometimes it’s just not doable, but there were only four other tables in house and lots of staff on hand. I wish Keos would do something about their negative reviews and their staff. For the price we paid tonight and how dissatisfied we were, it is simply not worth it to go back again.
Great pad-Thao. Just the right amount of everything. Always a great meal
