Wow
You will not be disappointed, a great restaurant to come and enjoy the food and the people. This is a long time, local family business. And worth the trip!

First time visiting this restaurant for a 60th bday on the weekend. Great food & got lots of it for the price. Super friendly staff. Will definitely be going back!

Respectfully!! Who ever own this restaurant is a disgrace to our culture. I should have seen the red flags when the menu didn’t make sense and the waiter at the front didn’t know what rice and peas was. Not even dog would eat the food. The rice didn’t have any taste. The jerk chop as they called it tasted of smoke. There was no original macaroni salad or our Jamaican coleslaw. The sauce on top of the meat was gross. I waste $22 dollars. Word of advice don’t claim to be a Jamaican restaurant if you don’t know Jamaican cuisine. I’ve tried other Jamaican restaurants in Saskatoon and they were amazing. Not sure what this one was one thing for sure it wasn’t Jamaican cooking.

Some friends took me there to celebrate my 60th Birthday. The food was so good and they made it spicy for me. Then all the staff came out to sing Happy Birthday to me with the best Key Lime Pie, I have ever had! They even had a bubble machine! Great time was had by all! Thank you Konga Cafe, I will return!

This quaint little café serves up some of the best Jamaican food you can find in Saskatoon, today I had the jerk pork chop with oven roasted potatoes and pan fried carrots, zucchini, in a crushed tomato sauce..
They serve you Jonny cake before they bring out your meal, which I really enjoyed with a couple of the hot sauces that were on the table and I washed down all this goodness with a pineapple island soda..
Your host Eddy is a true gem, and his wife brings out the true flavour’s of the Konga with everything that she prepares for you and their son Martin is the perfect gentleman that serves you your food and checks on you to make sure that you are enjoying your meal..
I give this place a 10 out of 10 for service amazing food and a wonderful café atmosphere.

When you talk about hidden gem, this is the place!

I always come for their Jerk Chicken or Mahi-Mahi sometimes, and these two never fail me! My boyfriend's favourite is the BBQ ribs (extremely huge portion) with Jerk sauce. You can adjust your spice level without changing the actual flavour. We feel that Konga is the best Jamaican cuisine we have ever had!

The service is awesome too! The guy who serves us always remembes my order (never came out wrong) and checks on us very often. I invite a lot of friends and relatives, and never heard once they not like it!

It's worth every single penny you spend.

Hand down best place to eat in saskatoon. I always go for the ribs and get it with jerk sauce. They will change anything on the menu to make it fit what you want. Friendly service. An absolute hidden gem. Such amazing food we even got them to cater for my partner's birthday. Ribs are tender but not soggy and with the jerk sauce - which they custom to any spice level - just unreal. Can't recomend this place enough. Just wish they were open more :c
