If there’s one thing I can say confidently after going to Little Grouse for the first time is that Brian knows exactly what the heck he is doing. The fall menu is perfect. From the focaccia to start, to the beautiful pasta, and the delicious fish it is all fantastic. Do yourself a favour and don’t bother with picking your dishes. Let Brian do it for you and you will have zero complaints. Tasting menu highly recommended!!

Came to explore Saskatoon for a few days and heard Little Grouse was a must. They were so kind to fit us in on a busy Saturday night. The 3 servers were incredibly hospitable, knowledgeable, and went out of their way to make our experience memorable. My partner and I can honestly say it was one of the best meals we've ever had. We had the meatballs, burrata, squash risotto, rigatoni, and the cacio e pepe. We're still talking about how we haven't tasted a meal as delicious in our home province. The two chefs worked in quiet unison and produced a dining experience we won't forget. Thank you Little Grouse!

The single most exquisite meal I've ever encountered and the most amazing staff I've connected with in forever. Thank you for being a special end to our week in Saskatoon. ❤️
We previously had a not so great service experience at Little Grouse and they totally out did redemption! We had a wonderful server Matthew, free bubbly, and the most amazing meal! The new fall menu and alla famiglia was outstanding. Thank you for such a wonderful experience and we will most certainly be back!
We hadn't dined at LGOTP for several years but we wanted to try their Italian offerings. I had the bison ragu tagliatelle and my husband had the shrimp vongole. Very nicely done, good presentation and flavour. The wine list is not extensive but well-chosen. We had the Panna cotta for dessert. It was very tasty. Coffee could be stronger. Overall a pleasant experience and our server Madison was very personable.
We had not been in the Little Grouse on the Prairie for a while but am so glad I chose it to celebrate our birthdays. We had a lovely meal last night, with personal recommendations right for us (chose the 4-course meal), and got to try new flavors. Service was so polite and helpful, going above and beyond to make us feel welcome, thank you, you are the best in this city!
We called to increase our party size by one and even though the restaurant was full they managed to get us all in without feeling cramped. The food was delicious, fresh to order and the perfect portion size. I would definitely come back next time we're in Saskatoon
We had the smoked mushroom and ricotta ravioli, and the butternut squash girella and both were amazing.
We had an absolutely amazing meal at Little Grouse. Having been in Canada for less than a month and coming from the fine dining city of Charleston, South Carolina we were very impressed. The mushroom ravioli was out of this world. When the family is in town, we will be back.
Dietary restrictions: Several great pescatarian items on the menu!

Perfect place for wo e paring and course meal. It was a great experience 😊❤️🙌🏽
We will be back! Food and drinks were excellent and service as well. It got a bit noisy when full which can be challenging for conversation for those with hearing deficits but overall we were very impressed.
After spending a very long season in the remote wilderness of Northern Saskatchewan being severely short staffed and overworked I was looking forward to Lil Grouse on the Prairie being the first meal that I wasn't cooking. And they did not disappoint. My coworkers and I had the 7 courses family style meal and I took the wine pairing to go along with my dinner. The food was delicious, the service impeccable and the knowledge of wine the server had was delightful. Thank you for a great first night out in months. Cheers with kitchen beers. 🍻
As always the food was great however the service was not. Our waitress was snobby and inattentive right from the time we were seated. We waited about 10 minutes before being asked what we wanted to drink and there was only one other person in there. And he got his drink much before we did. When I asked for pepper she snottily replied we recommend you taste it first. I said I've had this before and I like pepper. She walked away when I was mid sentence. No smiles and hardly came to our table. The other waitress noticed us looking around and brought us our bill. Barely a word from our waitress as we paid. Needless to say I left a small tip and that wasn't even deserved. I'm a foodie and have been eating in places like this for 20+ years all over the globe. Please stop with the snobby attitude. We just want good food.
Had a butternut squash girella pasta with a lemon sauce that was AMAZING...just dreamy. That was worth its price, for sure. We were pretty disappointed with the scallops appetizer because it was $28 for *three* scallops. They had some tasty sauces with them but we felt like it was extremely expensive for what we got (that's where it lost a star). Dessert was very yummy. Anyway, all the food was excellent taste-wise and I had never tried girella pasta so that was a great experience. My husband had a sirloin steak and said it was very good.
Service was excellent! We were there as soon as they opened so it was fairly quiet (in a nice way) but I can see that it probably gets quite noisy when it's full because it's a small restaurant with a lot of mirrors and close seating. The kitchen is fully visable and it's neat to see the chefs working on the food!
