I love this place. Best Saté beef noodle soup in Saskatoon. The only bad side there not open 7 days a week. Especially open up on Sundays.

While the food does taste good, the portions are really small, the meat to vegetables ratio is crazy! I paid an extra $5 for extra meat and still got like 4tbs of meat! What a joke! Definitely not worth all that money!

I have never ordered from this restaurant, wanted to give it a try. So I called this restaurant to have a take away order. Was put on hold for several minutes. I hung up and tried calling back 2 times, and was hung up on. This was on a Monday afternoon at 1:30pm.

This was our first time dining here, and it was an awesome experience. The food was delicious, with large serving sizes (almost overwhelming – a regular order can be shared) and friendly service. The ambience was cozy, and the restaurant was clean. The prices were very affordable, and we're coming back here. I will recommend this to my friends.

They counted my 2.5 years baby as a sixth person and charged me 15% mandatory tips..

This is our 4th time in this place.
Nice atmosphere.

I like their Pork Chops with Rice, but decided to order some noodle bowl.

UPDATE.
I was there for lunch today.
Ordered the usual Pork Chops with Rice & Fried Egg.
Its similar to what we have in my country.
The Pork Chops are sliced thin.
Its grilled with white rice, 2 slices of tomatoes, 4 cucumber slices, a vinegar dip with slivers of carrots.
I usually order an extra egg.
Its a comfort food, no brainer.
I like the classic ambiance.
They're celebrating 5 Years, so theres 10% off from Sept 11-14, I believe, for Take-Out orders.
So, I got the same order to bring home.
I come here for the food, & bcoz its close-by.
The service here is a hit or miss! Sometimes, the server is in a good mood, sometimes U get ignored!
I have read many similar reviews of being snubbed.
Hopefully I dont experience that again, as it is quite offensive.

We went for late lunch today.
New female server.
Ordered my usual Grilled Pork Chops with egg & rice.
I was craving for this & it turned out very good!
My hubby ordered Lemongrass Chicken on rice. He said he is not complaining that he did not find any lemongrass from his meal bcoz the food was really good, only he did not see any lemongrass!!
Oh well...
Service was good.
First time I used their washrooms & it was very clean!! ?

Their beef cold rolls are soooo good. Mai's Kitchen has been a lifesaver, especially during 2-show days: I can pick up 2 orders, eat 3-5 rolls, then feel ready to hit the stage with just the right amount of full, and without the queasiness that can come from fast-food. The way they wrap the bottom two rolls might be to keep them from sticking to each other and ripping, but it also means that I have a post-show snack waiting for me that isn't as dried out, so it all works well. I'm not full of my allergy triggers, the flavours are light and not sensory-overwhelming, and my body is ready for running around the theatre (as long as I don't get too greedy and eat them all, lol). Seriously, so tasty, and just... yeah. Food that helps me get things done.

Was told 25 minutes for pick up. Had to stand there and wait 50 minutes before food was ready. Had to ask 3 times if it was ever coming out. Very poor service today.
