Excellent spring rolls. Pho soup is good too, but I've had better
If you have ever been to half decent Vietnamese Restaurant, do NOT expect to be wowed by this one. I ordered the lemongrass beef noodle bowl and received a bowl full of noodles with 5 small pieces of beef, a tablespoon of carrots and all of the salad on the bottom. Presentation was terrible and taste was mediocre at best.
The only saving grace was the Vietnamese iced coffee which was good but it would be pretty tough to screw that up.
I do NOT recommend.
Mi Hong is yet another hole-in-the-wall place that all the regulars love so much they only tell their best friends about it. The staff are friendly, do their job well and check in with you often enough to make sure you're taken care of but not so often that you feel hassled.
I find that the state of the staff is very high on my list. If they're happy and helpful, that is a very big temperature taker for how everything else is.
I had supper there with my wife and we both thought the spring rolls were the best we'd ever had. Nice and crispy on the outside, packed well in the middle, and full of great flavor.
As with most restaurants it was a little noisier than I liked, but really not bad. Part of this was helped by the intimate setting. Tables for 4 were probably the largest layouts and the restaurant is on the long and skinny configurations.
I also enjoyed the special fried rice, even though I myself prefer more garlic in it. The ginger beef wasn't over salty but my wife wanted more ginger in it. However, still very good.
I highly recommend.
#33. That's all I need to say. Huge portion, and huge flavors.
Service was quick, fairly priced and the staff were very friendly.
Best noodles bowl I had in years.
I ordered the special beef noodle soup and spring rolls. The soup was okay. The broth is a bit bland and I was a little dissatisfied with only 3 little beef balls it came with. And they package the medium rare beef with the hot noodles when you order it go, so it's no longer medium rare when you get home lol. The spring rolls were delicious tho and I'd order them again. But not the pho.
Food is delicious. We tried their chef's special and the beef pho and it was really good. Will definitely go back.
Excellent food! We had the noodle bowls and spring rolls, and they were delicious and fresh!
Excellent. Very good. Lots of food. Pick up and our take out was very smooth.

Best Noodle Bowl in town, the 33 can't be beat. So good, you almost have to get a tattoo in honor of it.

Came for the 33 noodle bowl mentioned on top 10 noodle bowls in Saskatoon, and it didn't disappoint. All the meat is so tender. Didn't try the shrimp because my daughter ate both pieces, but she said they make the best shrimp ever.
