Good service, sushi was good considering it’s in the land-locked prairies.

Unimpressed by my experience last night. Ordered 12pc of cucumber avocado sushi last night at 6:50pm for pickup at 8pm, arrived at 8pm and was told it was not ready yet, and they did not have anywhere for me to wait for my order. Was told to wait in my car and they would call my number when it was ready. Sat with my car running for 20 minutes in below 30 weather. No call from restaurant. So I went inside and it was still not ready for another 5 minutes. Very disappointed with this service, seems like they had not even started my order at 8pm for my 8pm pickup.

The shui mai were very tiny, not made in house, and had a funky flavor. The shrimp dumplings smelled very fishy, again not made fresh in house. The california and dynamite rolls fell apart. The spiring rolls were tiny, as was the pork cutlet. To give you an idea on the portion sizes, my phone camera was two inches from the plates, which were 4×4 inches square. The tempura was okay. Yes, it's AYCE, but the food still has to be good quality, and this place falls short.

Now, normally I dont ever leave a review anywhere, this might actually be my first one. But the food and service here is just too amazing to not note. The staff are very friendly, the food tastes very fresh, and overall it's a lovely and not that expensive place to get some good food. If you don't know what something is you can ask! And they are so patient, love it!

I don't know if it's because the business is not so good in winter, they use stale raw fish for diners. I'm fine, I just have a little stomach discomfort, but my wife had abdominal pain, diarrhea, and vomiting not long after I left the restaurant. Please be careful when going there.

Our server was one of the worst servers I have ever seen. It was our first time visiting, she did not want to explain anything about the menu or the all you can eat ordering process. There was seven of us 3 adults, 4 children. We all had the the all you can eat except for an eight year old who was ordered a rice platter and soup from the a la carte menu. We started getting our food which was not great at all, just average and the 8 year old wanted to try one sushi and was standing behind her mother when the server came rushing and shouting at the mother and the little girl that she should not eat and that she saw what happened. The 8 year old was so scared that she rushed to her chair without moving or talking till the end of the day. We complained and asked them not to send that server to us again and we got a "sorry" from the manager not a word to the upset child and no apology from the server. The food was bland in general with no taste. Dessert was placed in the same basket with other food that we did not recognize it until some one else ate it. We are not going again for sure and do not recommend this kind of service to anyone

Had all you can eat and the sushi was delicious!!!!!!!!!!!! My favorite is dragon, Philadelphia, and spicy salmon!
Great value, lots on the menu, and they bring it out FAST.
Atmosphere wasn't the best, the bathroom was a mess (toilet paper everywhere, i told the staff what a mess it was) and there was a child running around. Not one or two laps, but my entire visit there. Climbing in booths, tripping waitresses carrying big trays. Standing on the table. (The booth was empty) I hate to be one of those people, but I wish the parents would have watched them (I understand the review isn't about them) or the staff should have said something. If the kid was crying, I'd understand.. but they kept running into our booth, they even ran into the bar and kitchen. It just got to the point that, it was uncomfortable and extreme. Maybe no kids after 7 lol

The food was not bad. But the service is awful. The owner should have trained the staffs better.

Great place. Good prices. Fast. Not great service but it was still fast. We just didn't get checked up on so was very thirsty throughout the meal. The sashimi was quite distasteful though. I wouldn't order it again.

I recently visited New Island Sushi and opted for the all-you-can-eat option, and it was a fantastic experience! The variety of options was impressive, with each dish being absolutely delicious. Despite it being a busy time of day, the food arrived quickly, which was a pleasant surprise.

The quality and freshness of the sushi were top-notch, making every bite enjoyable. The efficient service and wide selection made the meal truly memorable. I highly recommend New Island Sushi to anyone looking for a great dining experience!

Went there on Wednesday at 8:20 pm but they told us we couldn't eat there because they already called for last call. We had to come by taxi and spent $20 for our group to come to the restaurant, then the waitresses couldn't even explain why theyre refusing us. They posted on google and everywhere that they do not close until 9:30 pm. So why would you do a last call more than an hour before you close. If you dont follow the business hours that you created, then what's the point. You're confusing customers who want to come and eat at your restaurant. Horrible customer service.
