Clean Socks Matter

It's a yuppie place. Trendy, artsy-fartsy...Imagine a busy night club that's only open in the morning and early afternoon, but there's no booze. It's a progressive crowd (not being presumptuous, as it was progressive folks that brought me there), that order freshly squeezed orange juice and coffees with names so grande that the coffee beans might be royalty.I ordered the BIT. The server had no idea what the BIT acronym was, but thankfully, there was a description. The sandwich was really good. The others in my party had some extravagant eggs Benedict and some gnocchi dish. Everyone enjoyed thier food. The seating isn't great for older folks or people with back problems. They are a plastic type of chair without any cushion. This is not at all a negative review, I'm just trying to illustrate that it's not a quick simple meal kinda place.

Enjoyed very much. They have a very nice menu with several varieties of eggs beni, which I love. They get their food from local vendors. And serves was amazing. Well worth the visit.

I ordered online and had it delivered to my house. It got sent with no napkins, cutlery, or any of the jam or peanut butter that you can select when ordering. Not to mention the scrambled eggs tasted water and were a very unappetizing rubbery

This is the first time that I’ve decided to write a review good or badWe ordered the crape. It was dry and crunchy. The server asked how is it? I mentioned how it was. The restaurant didn’t apologize or ask to replace it and still charged us for it however they gave us a 30% discount.A little background -I’ve have worked at restaurants since 16 years old and owned restaurants since 2013. Even though you could look at this crape and tell it was hard and dry, you didn’t need to, the whole time the crape sat on the table, they didn’t even bother verifying if what I was saying was true, all they had to do was look at it or tap it with a back of a spoon or fork and they would know. It’s not a pancake which even if slightly overcooked you can eat it. A crapes texture completely changes once’s it becomes crunchy. Moreover I’ve been having breakfast at oeb since it was called overeasy breakfast at their first location on Edmonton trail in Calgary. For 15 years 4-6 times a month. They can extrapolate the numbers. Then over the past year I started coming to Saskatoon and I was delighted that there was one here. Every time I come to Saskatoon I bring the family to oeb. All my partners and clients get oeb gift cards for Christmas.Having worked in the kitchen I understand we all get tired and perfection is not the expectation here, trust me I’ve screwed up enough meals, but the fact that the cape sat on the table and they didn’t even bother to check if it was eatable is quite disappointing.

The menu never disappoints. Service is great and is still a great place to enjoy with friends.

Overall, we are pretty disappointed with the service and the food. We had ordered OEB and got it delivered to our house but the presentation was really poor and the food was soggy. I understand that with delivery, presentation is not going to be perfect, but I had higher hopes for the food considering we paid $65 for it.

First time going and was extremely impressed with the lak lak bagel and side of sturgeon caviar. Wasn't a fan of the eggs benny on a crussont but they have options for a muffin. Coffee wasn't the greatest, but I did only try the regular one.Odly enough the fork felt weird in my hand other than that the service was good and the food was great. Just a hint of judgment from the front end staff with me being of aboriginal decent but that's honestly everywhere. Still left a nice tip for the quality of food though. Will definalty be back for more.

Food was really good? Customer service was even better! It's kid friendly. I got the classic breakfast with over hard eggs, smoked bacon, and multi grain toast?

The lobster scramble I ordered as half wedges, half salad came with just about 6 wedges. After complaining about this, the wedges brought from the kitchen was fried with oil that had a stale taste. This was disappointing for me as my host had made so much to do about OEB being their favorite dining spot & which informed my trying you out when I did.
