I always have a great experience at this location.
The Chicken Pita Wraps and Rice are always on-point and I appreciate the friendly, efficient customer service.
I had not been to an OPA! in a while and our company had brought in catering from the 51st location last week and it was a hit! Delicious! I needed a late evening meal last night and instead of the fast food in the area I wanted some more healthy fare and stopped in. The girl at the till was friendly and helpful and the take out I had was wonderful.
We had Opa cater our staff lunch recently. Not only was the food hot and delicious but we were very impressed with the amount we received. Our whole team was raving about how this was one of our favourite catered lunches.
The lamb skewer had good flavor bit was a little tough. The french fries were a little undercooked. The pita bread was amazing. My friend’s salad was lacking several ingredients and was mostly tomatoes. It was interesting that that they had plastic straws, but paper cups, and wood cutlery. That was actually the most annoying part because the fork and knife, which were necessary to eat, were hard to use and pretty ineffective as cutlery being made of some sort of thin wood.
My friends and I went out for dinner here and it was super disappointing for all of us. My gyro wrap had two almost burnt, literal 2 millimetre thin slices of meat, barely the length of the pita bread. I’ve never seen that at Opa, I was actually surprised. I should have taken a pic lol it’s like they’re rationing. I’ve been to Opa a possibly concerning amount times and this location is usually terrible. My Caesar salad had literally 3 croutons, 3 lol, and the tiniest tickle of dressing. It was lettuce and bacon pretty much. The shrimp skewer was salty enough to give an adult enough sodium intake for a month, no clue how you manage that. They had chicken skewers which they said weren’t nearly as good as the ones we had a few days ago at another location. Their fries were both so over salted they weren’t even edible, and those two eat McDonald’s so that’s saying a lot. Things seem very straightforward at Opa, is it not already mostly prepped? They could give a shred of a crap but seem to not. Highly don’t recommend this location.
I have visited today. And had a great experience. Food was fresh. Staff was really nice. Highly recommended.
I love Opa, and I hate leaving a review like this at all but I ordered a chicken wrap last night and the chicken in it was essentially raw. The fries and Greek salad that I got with it were great and my son enjoyed them, but I took one bite of my pita and it was raw chicken.
I'm an opa fan normally. I'm not sure what is going on lately. I'm extremely disappointed. My salad was made wrong. Sitting on 3 pieces of suspect or bad lettuce. The potatoes dry and burnt somehow. Even the rice looks off. Wait it is, rock hard and inedible. Just gross
First time trying OPA! and I was genuinely impressed. I got the chicken souvlaki wrap combo — it was juicy, flavorful, and super filling. Staff were patient and helpful walking me through the menu. Definitely coming back!
Wednesday November 14th - I took my 86 year old mother, and my two teenage sons for lunch today. I was NOT impressed with the owner and all of there family members blocking the entrance to the pop machine while they were having there meeting. The food was sub par. I started going to OPA in Calgary (where it originated) the franchisee owners today are NEW Canadians. I have yet to go to an OPA where there are actual Canadians. Long story short, I am done with eating out in general (Tim Hortons, DQ, McDonalds...etc.....) They are ALL BAD and the food is horrible. I don't trust the cleanliness and the protocol for handling food. Lesson learned as we will continue to eat home cooked meals.

Food was very well prepared and quick. Worth the drive just to go to this location! Rather than midtown. Somebody the best customer service I've had! Tania was polite, professional and made me feel very welcoming.

I have been eating at this location for about a year. It’s always been fast and friendly service with hot and tasty food. It’s under new ownership/management now and the staff seemed friendly and knowledgeable. The new manager took time to visit with us at our table. Never disappointed!
