The steak frites were excellent and they are always so kind and competent in their management of allergies/dietary needs.

It was our first time at POP Wine Bar and it did not disappoint. Our waitress was well informed on the food and bar options, her recommendation of food and wine pairing was spot on! We will be back.

The bison tartare was the best I ever had. The other dishes we tried were good but not outstanding. They only had one variety of oysters; I like to have at least 2 types to correct and contrast tastes.

I really wanted steak frites last night and after looking at the websites of numerous restaurants and chains I was surprised to see that Pop Wine bar served it. I love everything “Christie Peters” so we headed out. Best steak frites I have had in a very long time (and we just got back from Montreal). I asked for the salsa verde on the side because I usually don't like anything extra on my steak but I ended up dunking my steak into this fresh delicious sauce. The truffle fries were amazing ... super crispy with a touch of truffle flavouring ( I think most places use way too much truffle) and everything dusted with the teeniest white edible flowers I can't wait to go back and do it all again. Oh and.... The flax bread served with a slab of salty butter and honey is also an absolute necessity

Very nice atmosphere and they play great music. Try their Caesar! I absolutely loved it. Their oysters are amazing and by the way, the Caesar comes with one.

Excellent friendly service as well.

Saskatoon's Pop Wine Bar on 20th Street is a fun spot to spend happy hour on a Friday afternoon. Oysters and bottles of their house bubbly are on sale, and the rest of the tapas-style food goes down well. Try the flight of sparkling pet-nat wines (which are a bit of a specialty here), the arancini, and a charcuterie board featuring delicious house-made terrine with fruit and pistachios. There are some nice semi-private areas in which to have more intimate conversations or in which to gather a table of friends, along with a hopping front of house with plenty of helpful servers to keep the libations and comestibles coming.

The food was very good. I was disappointed in the wine selections. Given that they call themselves a "wine bar" I had higher expectations. I sent a glass back, and was charged for it. Somewhat disappointing.

Sam provided excellent service, the chef prepared the food to perfection, and the freshness and taste of the food was one of the best Saskatoon has to offer! We will be back!

This was our 2nd visit and it was a wonderful dining experience each time. The food and wine suggestions have been spot on. Our servers were delightful and knowledgeable. It's my favourite restaurant in town.

Opentable Diner

The food was delicious. We ordered a variety of sharing plates that were all amazing. They are staffed really well so we never once waited to order or have the table cleared. The staff were incredibly knowledgeable about everything in the menu, food and drink. It is on the higher price range BUT you definitely get value for your money

First time at POP after being patrons of Primal for many years. Our food was absolutely outstanding and delicious. Service was excellent and drinks were very well made. Will definitely be back!

Pop is my absolute favourite go-to any time I want a fancy dinner in Saskatoon. I love the vibe, I love that the decor sort of feels like I’m at a grandpa’s house with the mounted fish and 80s exposed stone, the modelling reruns on TV are such a fun touch, and the mirrors make it feel way bigger than it is. I always come for the oysters and wine flights, and stay for the interesting and ever changing mains. I still dream about their nettle gnocchi. This time I came for my birthday, tried the parsnip ravioli with Gorgonzola and apples (oml), and my basque cheesecake (so good) came out with a sparkler. They made up an orange wine flight for me because their usual wine flight was sold out and it was incredible. The servers are always so lovely, the music is always good, 10/10, no notes.

POP wine bar is an amazing little gem! They have such tasty cocktails and food! They even made me a special dish that used to be on the menu. The servers are always friendly and attentive.
