Ok service ok food. Everything is just ok.

First experience in Popeyes and one of worst experience, ordered wings and they were so small and dry and the cashier lady gave me side eyes as I asked about the difference between the sauce they used. Not recommending at all.

We have gone here a couple of times since they have opened. Our visits here have never been smooth. However the service has always been polite.
We ordered the family bucket we were told we had to wait 20 minutes. We waited and then we were told when our 20 minutes was up that they were short two pieces, say what?! So we had to wait another 20 minutes.
We arrived home and our side container dishes as of coleslaw and macaroni and cheese were only 3/4 full! I recall this is what happened last time. I called them to complain about this and they apologized and asked me to come in and they will give us more 🤦, OMG! They gave us a poor excuse by saying that the containers are filled and then they settle as they sit. Again I say, say what 🤦OMG! Restaurants that don't give us what we pay for will soon enough learn to give us what we pay for if we all start asking for what we paid for!
They are making money head over tails from us. We are paying for twice as much for the amount that we get.

The sandwich was full of oil, when my brother bit into it, the oil splashed on his face and now he has small burns all over his face. Also the fries were old and management refused to replace them. Management is very rude, not the first we’ve had a mean encounter. We didn’t bother telling them about the sandwich cause we didn’t expect them to do anything regardless.

the chicken was fresh, juicy and crispy! The two sides ordered were macaroni and cheese and the other was coleslaw however both of these items came in containers that were only 3/4 full! When I call to ask about this they apologized for the macaroni and cheese and wanted me to come back for some more, say what!? And the coleslaw excuse was, as it sits it sinks over time, say what!? These excuses are just that excuses (that they want me t believe)! (IF POPEYES WANTS US TO HAVE smaller servings then get A SMALLER CONTAINER! YOU GUYS HAVE BEEN DOING THIS FOR YEARS, RIPPING PEOPLE OFF)
Why don't you just give me what I paid for?? No need to apologize just give me what I PAID FOR!!

For all of you people out there that are reading this and you end up getting only a partially filled container, ask them for them to FILL it up! It is yours, YOU PAID for it.

ANALOGY ---giving them $5 asking for change and they give you $4 back.

8th Street location, not so much

I went in today to grab some chicken for dinner and I have eaten at Popeyes at various locations but this is by far the worst food I have bought at any Popeyes location.
The food was old and the chicken did not seem anything like the usual Popeyes I am used to.
After reading other reviews I have got to agree that it’s better to avoid this particular location as they serve stale food.

I used door dash and ordered shrimp got no sauce with my orders! Was not asked if I wanted sauce and menus shows sauce so not happy that my order showed up with NO sauce!!!

My onion rings tasted like they were cooked in old oil. The pop machine was out of 4 flavors and the ice tea tasted like someone turned down the syrup ratio to save costs.
