Came here for my birthday and specifically got a larger table because there was a group of us gathering for drinks and dinner. We were sitting chatting and ordered drinks while we were waiting for the last person to show up. The impatient and rude waitress came back every 5 minutes asking if we want to order food, but we said we were still waiting for the last person and we were still doing good with our drinks. She had such a foul attitude and eventually told us that we are “taking up real estate” and that we shouldn’t come to sit if we’re not going to order food. We all thought this was a bit ridiculous considering we did order drinks and weren’t just loitering. Ironically, when we were ready to order food, the waitress was nowhere to be found. The food and drinks were good, and I liked the atmosphere. The waitress just was awful and made my birthday celebration very unenjoyable.

Prairie Sun has a great vibe from in house to the outdoor patio. I suggest the Beef Dip, best in the city!! Also, the Steak Sandwich and Dry Ribs are absolutely delicious!! Whether with friends for a cold locally brewed beer or a celebration meal with the family, it's a must to check out!

Visited here last night and was disappointed to say the least. The Chai Paralyzer wasn’t the slightest bit palatable and we were only able to drink it but buying a cup of milk to mix with it, even then we only drank it based on the sheer price. I had the lobster roll, which I’d seen in advance, and was looking forward to. It was very bland to the point of being tasteless to be honest. The fries were incredibly overcooked and the whole bill was almost $100. Definitely not worth the price tag.

We loved the Prairie Sun brewery! The food was great. The brunch menu included multiple eggs Benedict options (very exciting for me). The space is very cool but not to loud at brunch. And the single stall, gender neutral bathrooms were a plus!

Just had a rather unpleasant first-time visit to Prairie Sun. I travel lots for work and always seek out local microbreweries to try, and Prairie Sun was a short walk away from my hotel. It was a gorgeous day in Saskatoon so I chose this place as it had its patio open. When I first walked in, nobody greeted me or said anything, and I didn't say any signs saying wait to be seated, so I assumed it was fine to just grab a seat wherever. I made my way out to the patio and grabbed a seat. The server there then asked if I was sitting there and I said yes, and she did say next time to wait for the host to seat me. Totally fair, but maybe have a sign up indicating that? Or maybe there was one and I just didn't see it? Anyway, kind of an off-putting way to start the experience and not very welcoming.I ordered a flight of different beers, all of which were really good! I especially enjoyed the Sonyashnyk Blonde Ale, it was perfect for a sunny spring day. I also ordered a poutine off of the happy hour menu. Once food and beer was dropped off, I noticed the same server being curt and snippy with other patrons who also sat themselves at the patio, as I imagine they thought the same thing I did upon walking in. It was really off-putting.I was checked on once during my visit, and even though I would've loved another pint of that yummy Sonyashnyk, I was never asked once my flight was completed. I hastily paid my check and left. The staff, and in particular the server I had, Kendra F., needs a refresher on how to make a friendly and welcoming space for patrons. This experience left a sour taste in my mouth.I usually buy a piece of merch from every brewery I visit around North America- however, I couldn't get out of Prairie Sun fast enough. It's such a shame, as both my food and beer were great, and the brewery itself is a great space. The service, on the other hand, left a lot to be desired and I won't return based on that alone.

For starters, pints of a locally made beer at a great price. Second and most importantly, the dog friendly nature of this bar is not summer only and while they don't have a server so you can't get a full meal, you can call them and order a pint. And they will give you one as you and your fluffy friend. Enjoy the crisp outside air.

Great atmosphere, hadn't been to Saskatoon since 1996. Really enjoyed the brown ale, notes of caramel with a smooth malt finish.

Wasnt a table cleaned but many were empty so we sat at bar and waited for one..had to pay for beer before being seated at a table. Many unavailable items on menu..settled with the lobster bites which took an hour to arrive and the portion was tiny for the price. Waitress communicated nothing and was offended and snotty when i refused to tip. Worst all around experience...would have preferred to eat garbage in an alley

I attended a bingo night at Prairie Sun. The new location is beautiful. Our server, Jeremy, was fantastic. He attended to the whole room, was quick and so friendly. The food was really good!

Food was okay nothing too special ..the lobster roll was pretty small the portions here are pretty small if you don't order fries on the side. Ordered the soup on the side and it comes in a tiny sauce container you would put gravy in. Paid $25 for the lobster roll and got a tiny cup of soup and a handful of lobster I probably wouldn't come back here I guess if you're drinking lots alcohol with your meal it would be filling.

The place is wonderful, the service is excellent, the food is very good, I like the concept. I just wish they had more options on the menu and more international drinks. But the incredible thing about the place is that it is always open. I really enjoy and love coming.

Love this place. Trivia/bingo alternating Tuesdays is always a good time. Their chicken tenders are fantastic, as well as most of their sandwiches. A couple choices for vegetarian or gluten-free diets too. The service is always great with constant smiles and wonderful attitudes, and great communication if there are ever any delays in the kitchen or wherever.
