We very much enjoyed our meal at Primal. We had the two stuff pastas, both were delicious! The service was great! It's a bit of a smaller space so it can be loud, but overall it was a great experience!

We had made reservations for dinner and unfortunately my dad was hospitalized and things got worse and we had to cancel short notice. They charged my mom a $150 cancelation fee, without consideration for our families situation. We love the food here and usually this is where we pick for my brothers birthday, but after this we will not be returning. Sad to see a local place treat customers like this, I understand they need to make a profit but I think situations should be considered and some sympathy shown.

We’ve been coming here for years, but we were kind of disappointed with our last visit. Seems like the quality has gone downhill for their pasta. The spaghetti carbonara was really mushy and kind of tasteless. The ravioli was pretty nice although the ravioli version from the previous year was quite a bit better. For $35, I was expecting something of much better quality if they charge those prices per dish. Also, when the waiter told us that they could bring some bread out for us, that bread is not complimentary, it’s $10. You will get better value for your meal at the Olive Garden or Boston pizza. It’s the same quality, but half the price. We probably won’t be returning in the future.

We were seated between two very loud tables which made it difficult the two of us to talk and really enjoy our time together as it felt like we were part of the other groups given how close the seats are. I know it's just how seating is set up at Primal, just not for us! :)

Primal was the perfect date night spot. Our server was incredible – they walked us through each dish in our 5-course meal, explaining the ingredients in detail and even suggesting wine pairings. The ambiance was calm, romantic, and felt really special. An amazing, must-try experience. We'll definitely be back!

One of the best restaurants in SK. Exceptional service that goes above and beyond - will describe In detail what is being served, ingredients and how it was cooked, along with origin sourcing. The body language of our most recent server was personable, focused, connecting, individualized. Really makes you feel seen, valued and remembered. Candlelight. Rustic. Wild foraged teas. Our favs to enjoy are Bison Carpaccio, Bone Marrow, Bison 40oz, Tiramisu. For a while the Squid Ink Risotto (former menu) was also delicious. Ethically sourced, Local, Grass fed, and their options actually offer me choices to meet my dietary restrictive and supplemental nutritional needs. I hope they continue to serve in a good way for a long time.

Honestly the best service I've had anywhere in Saskatoon. Our waiter knew every detail and explained every dish. The food was amazing. An impeccable dining experience and we'll definitely be back.

The food was good. It's not inexpensive. We did the tasting menu. Portions were fine. I found the service a bit hurried considering it wasn't that busy to start out the meal. It did get busier and then the noise level goes up quite high. Acoustics are not great or the layout if you're looking for a quieter intimate experience. Lighting was very dark to the point you couldn't really see the food you are eating which is unfortunate as that should be part of a fine dining experience. Definitely worth trying out but not somewhere I would be compelled to go back.

Me and my boyfriend went to Primlal last night and the service was great. we had a reservation for 7:30pm and had to wait for our table for a bit but it was definitely worth the wait. Food was delicious, atmosphere was energetic and warm. Perfect for a date night, group dinner or a solo dinner.Definitely going back.
