First time visiting here!

Pros: service amazing, good food presentation, nice atmosphere

Cons: some might find it too dark, food took a long time to arrive. Expect to be here 2 hours. Also, the food is just okay honestly, it was overall somewhat bland.

Overall I don't think we will be back as the cost doesn't justify the quality of food we received.

I have nothing but amazing things to say about Primal. For my partner's and I's anniversary, I wanted to do something special and I had heard about how great this place was.
Firstly, the staff were amazing; very personable and friendly and elevated the experience. Despite them being busy, our server was so attentive and helpful! Knew the menu very well and could explain any questions.

We decided to do the 5 course meal, and holy crap we were not disappointed. Whole meal took just over 2hrs, it was spaced out very well with perfect portion sizes.I love how it's a "choose your own adventure" versus it being a set meal plan, so you can get all the things you've been eyeing up. I dont want to list out everything we got as we each got something different and shared, but every fricken dish was amazing. We also got the oysters, and I was blown away by the quality and freshness.
Everything was plated beautifully, portion size was perfect, you can taste the quality of their ingredients! Everything just melts in your mouth, I cannot hype these Chefs enough. We were very full leaving, and incredibly satisfied.

Definitely was expensive, but worth the price for the quality of service, atmosphere, and food. It made our anniversary into a really special night, and we can't wait to come back next year!

Came for the 5 course meal. Majority of the food was great, one pasta dish was too salty (spaghetti alla gricia) but everything else was exciting and delicious!

Atmosphere is a tad too loud with tables a bit too close together.

Either way, great dining experience and would love to come again to try more dishes! Butterscotch Budino is life.

11/10 experience, quality of food, service, everyone and everything about this place is 10/10. Appetizers, main, dessert, drinks…. I literally am speechless. I would rate this as the best restaurant in Saskatoon.

Why does a tip need to be 20% is beyond me. Food was great! Service was good. 40.00 tip is crazy. The birthday cake was so small.

Was asked at time of reservation what the occasion was, I took the time to input this was a celebration of a birthday with my GF being 10 years clean from drugs and alcohol. Nothing was every mentioned and as soon as we were seated the first thing the server talks about are the drink specials .... Not sure why this information was asked when it seemed to serve no purpose. Food was good, We started with the meatballs, the sauce seemed watery and almost like it was microwaved, not the most appealing to eat, however the meatballs themselves were good. I had the Bison, portions were a bit small but overall I enjoyed my meal. My girlfriend had the Bolognese (she wasn't super pumped it was made with beef heart, but in the end it was good as well) We did flourless cake for dessert, very nice! Server did suggest a mocktail once we told her we were there to celebrate sobriety, The sever seemed to be annoyed with my girlfriend but was nice to me. I was sold on the 5 course meal I heard about from some friends, it was VERY disappointing to know that unless myself and my girlfriend were to par take in the purchase of the 5 course that one person in the party cannot order this, BEWARE OF THIS .. if you want the 5 course meal be prepared to ensure your entire party is also wanting this as you cannot order it individually

Exceptional service and food as always! We ordered the five course tasting menu for a birthday, and it was excellent throughout. I massively appreciated that guests can choose their own dishes for the tasting, and not that each guest has to have all the same things. Goat cheese pasta and bison carpaccio were stand outs.
