The food was good. It's not inexpensive. We did the tasting menu. Portions were fine. I found the service a bit hurried considering it wasn't that busy to start out the meal. It did get busier and then the noise level goes up quite high. Acoustics are not great or the layout if you're looking for a quieter intimate experience. Me and my boyfriend went to Primlal last night and the service was great. we had a reservation for 7:30pm and had to wait for our table for a bit but it was definitely worth the wait. Food was delicious, atmosphere was energetic and warm. Perfect for a date night, group dinner or a solo dinner.Definitely going back.
Wonderful Saskatoon gem of a restaurant. Would highly recommend the Primal signature cut ribeye as it was extremely good. That, paired with a few pasta dishes, done family style was great. Tried nearly all of the desserts and the butterscotch was by far our favourite! My only issue is when I ordered our Barolo wine, the description offered didn't quite match the contents. However, it paired well most of our dinner choices and would not hesitate to enjoy it again.
