I ordered a Cheese Masala Dosa and a Podi Masala Dosa.
Quality and Quantity(sambhar) both were terrible. Couldn’t tell the different which one is which! I had to deconstruct the Dosa to see if they added any cheese in it or not. There was barely any traces of cheese.
They Do not blend their Sambhar I guess. I got two tiny little cups of Sambhar where one of the cups of Sambhar only had a half of a tomato and probably a table spoon worth of Sambhar. Anyways it doesn’t matter because it was tasteless and bland.
People definitely like their Dosa crispy and I’m one of them. But it was way too hard, it was literally hard to chew it.
Honestly I had better expectations as I love South Indian cuisine and there aren’t many places in city. But this place turned out to be a disappointment.

So, I checked out this new place—let me tell you, the food was fantastic! Seriously, some of the best in town. The vibe and location are great too. Now, here’s where things got interesting. My meal arrived… in a take-away box. Not sure if they thought I had somewhere better to be, but I was ready to dine in! And then there was the spoon—it became a bit of a scavenger hunt. All that said, the food is top-notch, so if they can iron out the service quirks, this place could really be a gem. I’ll be back… once the spoons are a little easier to find! ?
Still please ?? go and try their masala dosa ??21 year old chef is great. He knows what he is doing ??
Edited : I was back there again within three days, completely unfazed by the whole spoon situation. That’s just how good the dosa is!

"I recently had the pleasure of dining here, and I must say, the food is absolutely delicious! Every bite was bursting with flavor, and the ingredients tasted so fresh. The presentation was spot-on, and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. Whether you're grabbing a quick bite or sitting down for a full meal, this place will not disappoint. I can't wait to come back and try more from the menu! Highly recommended."

We have been thinking to visit the place from so long, finally got the chance and it is not at all disappointing. Atmosphere was very cozy and the food was amazing. Completely budget friendly and tastes also very nice. We had dosa and biriyani and it was really good. Along with that the staffs were very kind, they guided us through the menu with a smile. It was a good experience.

Best dosa I have had after I came to Saskatoon. It’s so crispy and perfect! I come here every week to have it, I am a big Dosa person! Also, this is the only place I know in Saskatoon which serves appam and stew. It tastes so good every time. The ambience here is also really nice for a family dinner or friends get together because the space is really spacious for 10+ people.

I had a terrible experience at Malabari Shack & Rock N Roll Diner. I ordered the Kerala Biryani for $12 and Chicken Perattu for $9, and both were a complete disappointment. The Biryani was just plain white rice with a few tiny pieces of chicken—no masala, no flavor at all. It was unbelievably bland. The Chicken Perattu was slightly better in terms of spices, but the chicken did not taste fresh at all. To make matters worse, I found a hair in the rice, which is absolutely unacceptable. The kitchen looked unclean as well, raising serious concerns about their hygiene standards. I really support small businesses, but I sincerely hope they take this feedback seriously. We live in an era where quality and cleanliness are paramount, and I hope they work on improving these aspects.
