Every time I come home to Saskatoon I make sure to stop here. I grew up eating this food, and it still tastes exactly the same—consistent, delicious, and nostalgic 🩷🩷🩷

I’ve been going to this family run business since the were a tiny 6 table restaurant on Avenue A.
A few changes have not disappointed until the last of the family crew has owned one of the handful restaurants with the Saigon name attached to it.
However, since the 33rd location changed ownership again I have to say the disappointment was palpable.
All I can say is I loved it for decades but no more.
Best stewed beef rice noodle soup I’ve ever had. This is hands down our family favorite Vietnamese restaurant, been going here 30+ years.
I’ve been visiting and ordering from Saigon for 30 years. I’m not sure what happened. From what I’ve read they have new owners who received the recipes which is fine but I’ve now ordered a few times and have been disappointed.
The Vietnamese dry chicken was always a guilty pleasure because of its crispness and smaller chicken strips, they also used to add shredded carrot for balance. Now it’s almost a whole chicken breast, not strips, the garlic was raw. The satay beef was good but the onions and vegetables were raw. The sweet and sour chicken are full pork chops and very fatty.
Please change the technique back. So sad!

Been coming here since I could walk.
30 years later still putting on.
Satay Beef on rice noodle is top notch.
Spring rolls are some of the best in town.
Must visit every-time I'm in Toon Town.

Always had good food here until tonight. I called in a large order close to closing (probably the big mistake). What we got was: a chicken salad where they forgot to hold the onions (no onions also means no green onions and crispy onions), even after the lady on the phone confirmed no onions. We also received two of the three beef dishes smelling and tasting of ammonia, so those were inedible. Also pretty sure they sent us the regular peanut chicken instead of the spicy peanut chicken we ordered.

Love the the food here and great service
Food was amazing, I ordered three items as I'm a competitive eater. Chicken curry was so fresh! The onions really gave it a bite.
Server was so friendly when talking to my mother, they went on a tangent about horror movies.
Atmosphere was comfortable.
Come here for some delicious Vietnamese food!
Ordered food for my staff and was good. Ordered for next day and they mixed up and sent same day. Driver blamed me. Now I have hundreds of dollars of old cold food. Not happy.
I had the spicy peanut chicken dish, it was very good but the only complaint was there was no actual spice, it hardly warmed my mouth.
